Chapter 16

*Riker's POV*

I watched the video in pure horror. I felt horror, fear and sadness I've never felt before. I felt all this for Anna, and I hope I see her parents so I can kill them. I've never seen anyone, especially a little girl, treated this badly.

I also feel bad for forcing Anna to tell me to basically make my life easier because I was curious. I feel like such an ass. At least I can help her. She said it'll kill me if I do and her parents will some how find out and hunt me down. I honestly hope they do so I can kill them for this horrible crime.

I was brought to tears. Rydel and my mom were balling their eyes out more than I've ever seen in my entire life. All the guy's were crying, even Dad!

I'm scarred for life for Anna! I will never get what she told me about the things her parents did to her or the video out of my head, ever.

*Mark's POV*

I'm so glad Anna came out with this. She doesn't have to be the only one going through this. I know what wasn't really right to get this deep into her past after only knowing her a few days but I think Riker did the right thing getting Anna to tell.

I can tell he feels bad but this way we can help her. I don't care if it kills me or technically....her parents kill me....

*Ross's POV*

I'm even crying. I just can't even. Anna is my girlfriend! I honestly have no idea how she is so sweet and would never hurt anyone, modest and humble with all the things she's been through!

And seeing all the things that her parents did to her, it's a miracle she's even alive! She is a living miracle.

"I can't believe this! W-who could e-ever d-do anything like t-that!" Rydel cried out.

"I don't know sweet heart....i-i don't kn-know..." My dad replied.

Everyone in the room was either crying or eyes watering so much they're barely not crying yet. I'm so glad I met her and can protect her now that I know.

And I know my family will do anything to protect her also. Even if that means it costs our lives! If I ever see her parents I will kill them hard and painfully.

The video finally ended and we turned on the lights again. Everyone's eyes were red and teary, everyone's faces all blochy and stained with their tears. We all sat in silence, looking at the floor for a few minutes.

After like 2 minutes I ran to the kitchen and everyone ended up following to see Anna. She was sitting at the kitchen table with her head down. When she heard us come in she turned her head, keeping it down, and looked at us," Terrible right?"

"Y-yes, it w-was the worst th-thing I've ever seen," Rocky stuttered. We all nodded in agreement.

"That was everyday of my life. What it teaches you is to be grateful for everything you have. I lived everyday debating whether I wanted my parents to give me mercy or just kill me to end my suffering." Anna said standing up.

I went up to her and hugged her," You are so strong," I whispered in her ear.

She nodded," And I also had to deal with bullies at school. Yes I actually went to school. I even snuck and risked everything to go. Education is actually important to me."

"I'm glad we know now, you shouldn't go through this alone. I don't care if your parents hunt me down and kill me for it, you are now apart of this family," My dad said to Anna.

Anna smiled," Thank you Mark and everyone. I just don't want anything to happen to you guys because it'll be my fault..."

"Don't worry about us, we will always be here for you. Those people that you told us about, the ones that were always secretly helping you, did your parents ever hurt them?" My dad asked.
