*5 years later*
*Author's note: I'm going to make Emma a little bit older like 15, Lacey is now 24*

I haven't spoke to Harry since the day he came to see me and I just think that's for the best. Kate met a guy and he moved in with us, I graduated from Berkeley.

"Can I go to work with you Lace?" Emma asked me.

"Sure baby, come on"

Mom had to work this morning so she dropped Emma off with me. We got in my car as I drove to the zoo and parked my car.

"You have like the coolest job!"

"You think so?" I smiled at my little sister.

"You do! You get to work with animals!"

I laughed "how's school Emma?"

"It's good"

I nodded "Dr. Matthew" I looked up at Jane.

"Jane, this is my little sister Emma. Emma this is Jane"

"Nice to meet you" Jane smiled "um the Lion has a fever"

I nodded "come on Em, you're going to love this"

We walked in and the lion was on the table "oh my god Lacey!"

I laughed "want to pet him?"

"Can I?" She asked me and I nodded as I took his temperature.

I told Jane to get some medicine and she handed it to me to give to the lion which he didn't like.

"You can bring him back now Jane"

She nodded and some guys came in to carry him out "so?" I looked at my sister.

"Like I said you have the coolest job" she smiled.

"Come on let me show you something"

Emma nodded as we walked out and I got her to be close to all of the animals and the smile on her face was priceless.

"I love you Lace!" She hugged me.

"I love you too princess, how's mom's?"

"Good, I think she's dating Jim"

"I figure she was, and how is he towards you?"

"He's not dad" she tells me "I like him, he's goofy and he helps with me with homework and we watch movies together"

"I'm glad baby" I kissed her forehead.

My phone rang "Hello?"

"Hey Lacey"

"Uncle Anthony! Hi! Is everything okay?"

"No baby, um they're going to let him out"

"What?!" Emma looked at me "why?!"

"His sentence is up"

"Is there a trial?!"

"Yeah"

"Well we'll be there, I guess I'll see you soon"

"Okay baby, love you"

"I love you too" I hung up "Em let's go sit down"

We sat down and I grabbed Emma's hands "they're letting dad out Em"

"Are you serious?! What if he comes for us?!"

"Well we have jim to protect you and mom and I have Daniel, if anything we will have the cops help us out but we have to go back for the trial. When we get back, we have to make the judge see that he can't get out or at least he can't be near us"
