My Crush

Chapter 1

"Lacey, you have been into Harry since like forever"

"And?" I looked at my friend Kate.

"Go talk to him!"

"Are you crazy?! First of all I don't even know if I would get a word out and what would I say to him?"

"You are acting like you never spoke to him before" Kate crossed her arms.

"That was small talk Kate, I don't know if I can actually have a full on conversation with him!"

She rolled her eyes as I gathered my books from my locker. I locked my locker and felt a push, I bumped into someone then my books and I were all over the floor.

"Fuck!"

"Oh my god! Lace are you okay?" I heard Kate.

"I'm so sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going"

I looked up at Harry as he kneeled before me. He helped me gathered my books as I got up.

"Are you okay?" He asked me.

"Y-yeah, thanks"

"Your welcome" he smiled and walked away.

"Lacey, are you okay?" Kate came up to me as I pushed her.

"What the fuck Kate?! I knew you pushed me"

"I saw an opportunity for you" she smiled.

"Bitch"

"Asshole"

I laughed as we walked back to class. I've had a huge crush on Harry ever since 6th grade and well I'm now a junior in high school and I think he's dating a cheerleader... I'm so much better than that slut.

I texted my uncle and told him I was going to stop by.

"Hey Lacey"

"Hey Uncle Anthony" I smiled as I kissed his cheek and hugged him.

"How was school sweetie?"

"Well my stupid friend pushed me so I can accidentally bump into my crush"

"Who's your crush?" He asked me.

"Um Harry Styles, he's on the football team... I don't know if you know him"

I grabbed a water bottle then sat down "know him?! Him and John used to play together!"

"Oh my god seriously? I've had a crush on him for the longest..."

"Maybe I can help you out"

"Oh god please don't Uncle Anthony" I laughed "I become a mess around him" I admitted.

"All right I won't, hey want to come over next week for dinner?"

"Sure anything to get me out of the house" I laughed "can I bring my little sister?"

"Of course baby"

"Well I should head home but thanks for the talk, and tell John not to be such a stranger at school"

"I will"

I put my headphones in and started my walk home which wasn't long thank god.

I walked into my house and Emma ran straight towards me "woah" I smiled at my little sister who is only five.

"Lacey!" I picked her up as I walked upstairs.

"How was day care?"

"Eh we colored, napped and watch a movie"

"What?! I wish I could do that all day!" I put her down on my bed as I took out my homework.

"Lacey is that you?" My dad called.

I rolled my eyes "yup! I'm in my room with Emma!"

My mom died when Emma was three, she doesn't remember her much but she always asks me about her. I basically raise my little sister, when it comes to girls, my father is clueless. After homework, I gave Emma a bath then we went down to eat with my dad.

"Had a good day at school?" He asked me.

"Yup"

"I was thinking Lace, maybe you should study for your license"

"My drivers Ed class isn't until the last marking period" I tell him.

"Well I think it will be better if you study now so you can take Emma to day care or pick her up"

"If I get my license, can I get mom's car?"

"Of course"

"Okay, then I'll tell Uncle Anthony to take me to the DMV to get the book"

"Got one already"

My dad handed it over to me, I took Emma upstairs with me as we changed into pajamas. I tried to study while helping her read.
