Chapter 16

*Five months later*

*July 15, 2015*

"Babe!" I laughed.

"Come on Lace" Harry yelled at me.

We have been together for six months now and honestly couldn't be happier.

"No!"

Harry sighed in the water "I'm not going to let you drown"

"You promise?"

"Cross my heart"

"Hope to die?" I asked him and he nodded.

I took a deep breath before running into the water.

"I told you I wasn't going to let you drown" I wrapped my arms around Harry's neck.

I sighed as the water moved with us "I'm scared" I admit to my boyfriend.

"I know you are baby, but I got you okay? I'm not going to let anything happen to you"

I nodded as Harry began to taught me how to swim. I was actually learning too and was getting the hang of it.

"Have you finished the summer work?" Harry asked me.

"I finished actually, my uncle got on my ass about it so yeah, do you need help?"

"Yes"

I smiled "I'm not going to give you the answers but I'll help you"

"Thank you beautiful"

Harry got out of the water first and wrapped a towel around his waist. Then he grabbed another towel and waited for me to get out. Once I did, he wrapped it around myself.

"Don't nobody else seeing that amazing body of yours" he smirked at me.

"Oh shut up!" I laughed.

We got back to my car where we relaxed as we put our clothes back on.

"It's so fucking hot" I whined.

"I know"

"Let's head to my place" I drove out of my parking spot and drove home.

Once I was home, I put the AC on in my room. Emma came running downstairs "Harry!" She's been loving Harry a lot, it's adorable.

Harry picked up Em and placed her on his lap. I took out the summer work as I made an extra copy for Harry.

"Ready?" I asked him.

"Nope"

"What are you two doing?" Emma asked me.

"We're doing work for school baby"

"But it's summer!"

"I know" I frowned at her "but it's something we have to do"

"Eww"

"Eww exactly" Harry stuck out his tongue and made Emma laugh.

"What are you two doing down here?" John asked us.

"Doing the summer work, you finished yours right?" I asked my cousin.

"Yup! You know my dad doesn't pay that"

I laughed "No! I know, why don't you go give Emma some ice cream?"

"All right, can I come back down to hang with you guys?" He asked me.

"Yeah sure" I nodded.

"We're never going to be alone are we?" I looked up at Harry.

"I mean John works during the day and so do you and I'm here taking care of Emma so no"
