Trixie pressed the large buzzer causing it made a loud ringing noise throughout the house within. Trixie winced at the loud noise covering her ears, releasing them once the noise stopped. You could hear stamping from inside, getting closer fast. The heavy looking, red door opening revealing a little boy around Trixie's age glaring at the two of them, mostly Trixie.

"Mum! There's a weird little girl and her mum here!" The boy yelled, looking back at Chloe and Trixie both of them frowning at the boy.

"Say that again and I'll have you in cuffs for harassing a cops daughter." Chloe hissed, the kids eyes widening with fear, and nodded before vanishing off somewhere. The slender honey blonde woman appearing from a corner, a confused look on her face. Chloe glared at the woman, not liking her already, Chloe glanced around the house for what she could see from there to see if she could spot Lucifer. Until the woman stepped into her view, Charlotte eyeing Chloe then Trixie.

"Yes?" She said, her voice sounding like Chloe expected, someone who owned a ton of money, never having to have a care in the world because she had all the money in the world, a lot like Lucifer actually. Chloe wanted to roll her eyes in disgust. But Trixie spoke up.

"We're looking for Lucifer." Trixie spoke, looking up at the woman, waiting for an answer.

"Lucifer?" Charlotte repeated, as if she didn't believe the girl. "Morningstar?"

"Yes, he's my friend and I've missed him, Ella told us he was here." Trixie told her, looking around Charlotte.

"And who are you?" Charlotte asked, with a little frown.

"My name is Chloe Decker and this is my daughter Trixie, now is Lucifer here or not?" Chloe sighed impatiently, making Charlotte raise her eyebrows, not liking Chloe's attitude. Charlotte took a step forward in a threatening way but Chloe didn't flinch. She place her hands on Trixie's shoulders but all three of their attentions were grabbed by the familiar british voice.

"Hello Detective, what do I owe the pleasure?" Lucifer smirked from inside the house, appearing out of nowhere. Trixie broke away from her mother, slipping around Charlotte and crashing straight into Lucifer's legs, getting the usual response making her giggle with glee.

"Lucifer!" She squealed happily. "I've missed you!"

"Ah yes, hello offspring." Lucifer mumbled, as he always did to the child clinging to his waist. Chloe met eyes with Lucifer, searching for an answer as to why he left, but Charlotte cut in with a noise of disgust in her throat. Lucifer looked up at her and peeled Trixie off of him instantly as he met eyes with Charlotte, making Chloe narrow her eyes. Looking between the two.

"Come on Trixie, you've seen him now, see he's fine, we'd best get back in case your dad pops in for a visit." Chloe called to her daughter who was fixated on all the expensive toys laying around. She looked towards her mother.

"Can't we stay? Look at these toys! You wanted to talk to Lucifer, so whilst you do I can play!" Trixie called back, skipping over to the toys. Lucifer looked up to Chloe when Trixie said that. Charlotte looking at Chloe too.

"Oh you do? Well come in." Charlotte welcomed, making Chloe hesitant. Lucifer percked up, suddenly grabbing Trixie, lifting her in his arms and heading towards the door. Lucifer passed his mother and put Trixie on the floor, she was confused herself but she gave a little laugh. Chloe frowned at his sudden outburst. "What are you doing, Luci?"

"I think the Detective, Beatrice and I should talk else where, knowing what you're like, I'd rather stay away mother," Lucifer muttered, heading down the path, Trixie skipping happily at his side. Chloe's eyes had bugged out at the words of mother, wondering if she heard right. She couldn't be, the woman was just over Chloe's age, how on earth could she be his mother?

"Mother?" Chloe asked, catching up to Lucifer and her daughter, her child now holding his hand as she walked happy to have her friend back. Lucifer seemed a little happy too, despite his dislike for kids.

"Long story Detective, my mother simply escaped her cell in prison, came to live on earth possessing the body of Charlotte Richards." Lucifer told her to break it down, although Chloe still didn't understand too well. "So you still want to know me then, Detective? No running away? Warning me to stay away or else?"

"Lucifer...I'd never tell you to go away, sure, it was a pretty big surprise. But Lucifer, you're still you. My partner, the man who risks his life for me, how could I hate you?" Chloe smiled genuinely up at him, a flash of care came across his eyes, softening as they met his. Lucifer seemed to be slightly flustered, which never happened. Chloe let out a laugh. "Besides you don't expect me to partner up with Detective Douche, do you?"

"That'll be a disaster waiting to happen," Lucifer smirked, nudging her playfully accidentally pulling Trixie along with him, causing her to bump into his leg. She didn't seem to mind, still happily skipping along. "She's a ball of energy, your child."

"I know, I don't know where she gets it from..." Chloe smiled, gazing down at Trixie, who was humming a little tune she'd learnt from her class. Chloe felt proud to be Trixie's mother, Trixie was caring, brave and she had a big heart and a good sense of humour too. "Maybe the energy she got from my mum, everything else is a mix and match from me and Dan."

"Right well the considerate, beautiful, caring, tough side is definitely from you then," Lucifer commented, making Chloe's cheeks pink, she glanced down at the floor, her lips quirking into a smile. "Let's be thankful she didn't get the doucheness genes from Dan."

Chloe let out a laugh, she couldn't help it. Sometimes she felt bad for Dan what wtih Lucifer calling Dan a douche but sometimes he deserved it. Besides it was Dan's fault for insulting her intelligence on the day he met Lucifer, if he'd just have been polite then, maybe Lucifer would be calling him Dan or Daniel. "I've missed you these past couple of days."

"Seems Beatrice has too, I mean I don't know why, after seeing my shriveled, red, hallow eyed disgusting face, I'm surprised your not in the mountains by now"

"I don't think your face was disgusting, just...different...unique in a way, maybe slightly scary but your supposed to be," Chloe smiled up at him, he looked down at her, wondering why he didn't show her his face earlier.

"Thank you, Detective."
