"How about we take this drink upstairs? It's crowded down here" Lucifer slurred after having more than a few drinks. Chloe had had a few herself but she wasn't as drunk as him, she shook her head, her blonde locks whacking her face as she shook them. She rested her head on his shoulder with a little laugh.

"I have to get back, Julia can't babysit all night, besides I told Trixie I'd be back by eight, it's...half past now," Chloe sighed, spinning on her chair, then hopping off, walking to Lucifer's side. Smiling happily up at him. "I'm happy we had that conversation earlier. I've got to call a cab"

"Nonsense Detective, I'll drive you, I've only had a few" Lucifer smirked, practically falling on her as se slid off his stool. Chloe giggled and kept him from falling.

"Unless your wish is for me to die in a car crash, I think that would be a bad idea, you go get some rest, no doubt I'll regret drinking this much tomorrow. Goodnight Lucifer" Chloe nodded, pulling her leather jacket over her shoulders as Lucifer was steady. But before she could leave he caught her spun her fast, cupped her cheeks and kissed her. It wouldn't have been so sloppy if he wasn't drunk, especially when it was their first kiss, Chloe responded quick. Happy to finally get a kiss out of him, but she groaned and pulled away. "I have to go Lucifer, Trixie's waiting, I'll see you tomorrow"

Lucifer looked upset that she had to leave, but he was happy, he'd finally stolen a kiss from her, something he'd wanted since the day he met her. "Very well detective" Lucifer said, struggling to say a big word like detective when he was drunk. But he gave her a little nod. "Buckle up, warn the driver if he crashes the devil will be unleashed upon him. Goodnight Chloe"

"I'll make sure I do that" Chloe smirked sarcastically, she gave him one last glance over her shoulder before stepping into the swarm of dancing, chatting, singing humans, doing her best to head towards the exit. Lucifer grinned to himself, even if he wasn't sure if he and the detective were dating, he was sure that she felt the same way towards him as he felt towards her. He let out a loud WHOOP! Holding up his shot and downing it. He even refused a Brittany when she came staggering over falling on him, trying to kiss him. He frowned down at her, he'd just kissed the girl he'd basically been waiting for for two years, there was no way he was going to waste his chance with her, for a Brittany. Chloe was one of a kind to him. A mystery. Immune to his powers, she never automatically fell for him as others did. She fell for him gradually, first starting with a work relationship, to partners, to friends, to drinking buddies, then close friends to now...well he wasn't sure what they were now but her words earlier when she was sober made it sound as if she wanted to be with him, and the kiss, she didn't push away until she knew she had to go. So he was confused, once again by his detective.

Chloe unlocked the door, praying she didn't smell of too much alcohol, she licked her lips, the taste of whisky on them, it took only seconds for her to turn red at remembering the kiss. Although by this point her head felt like it was preparing for a headache, she smelt her breath and cringed. It stunk. Before she pushed open the door she rummaged through her bag, smiling as she found a packet of mints, popping a couple in her mouth and pushing open the door. Julia was sat on the sofa watching Ellen and Chloe couldn't spot Trixie around so she presumed she was in bed. Julia turned her head at hearing the door close, smiling up at Chloe.

"Sorry I'm late Julia, I promise I'll pay for over time" Chloe apologized, placing her bag on the counter and pulling out her purse, she was glad Lucifer made sure she didn't pay for the shots otherwise she would have spent all of Julias wages, she pulled out thirty dollars and handed it to the women. "I'll have to pay the extra five next time you come to babysit, thirty is all I have right now, sorry"

"It's alright, Trixies been an angel as always, she was colouring in her book, reading, playing that piano in the back room, although that woman...Mazi...Maxine? I couldn't pronounce her name but she came out of her room and complained about the noise. She not to nice, she threatened to drag me to hell with her, if I didn't tell Trixie to shut up quietly" Julia mumbled, her eyes darting towards Maze's room, afraid she could hear. Julia took hold of the money, stuffing it in her pocket.

"Yeah...sorry about her, she's...not really people friendly" Chloe laughed awkwardly, Julia nodded in agreement, Chloe held the door open for her with a smile. "I'll see you soon, thank you for watching her"

"No problem, anytime!" Julia called, as she stepped outside and headed off. Chloe closed the door and let out a breath, the alcohol stench had returned, she knew she should have got the other packet of mints, the scent probably would've lasted longer. As soon as she let out the breath and was about to head to Trixie's bedroom, Maze opened her door with a frown.

"You could've asked me to watch the small child, remember, I like her" Maze sighed, coming out of the room and passing Chloe, pausing. She glared over at Chloe, searching her with her eyes, backing up and standing in front of the girl. Maze was taller than Chloe, meaning it felt like she was towering over her, Chloe shifted uncomfortably. "You've been with Lucifer? I guessed you were at work, but by the distinct smell of whisky, I can tell"

"Well, I was at work, but I finished up there, besides we had a successful day, I thought it deserved a celebratory drink. Anyway we usually have one when we've done good on a case" Chloe shrugged, moving around Maze grabbing a glass and filling it with water. Maze turned, moving closer to Chloe and breathed in. "What are you doing?"

"You don't drink whisky" Maze pointed out, leaning against the counter with a smirk, arms folded as she watched her friend become nervous, taking a gulp of her water.

"You don't know that"

"I do, I'm a bartender remember? Well, used to be. I can sort of read the drinks someone would buy, you, I've seen you drink, your more of a cocktail, wine, vodka woman. But whisky, that's Lucifer's go to drink" Maze told her, her oddly perfect fish tail braid, whooshing over her shoulder. Chloe shrugged, wanting to escape this conversation. "What I wanna know is how you got the smell of whiskey on you, it's not that strong, and for you to have to smell of it, you must've drank it, that, I don't believe"

"Lucifer gave me some, it's no big deal, I never had it before and I wanted to try some" Chloe lied, avoiding eye contact. Making Maze laugh, she didn't believe a word of it. Chloe glared at her. "What?"

"Your lying Decker" Maze smirked, edging closer to her. "You kissed him, didn't you?"

"What? No, ew" Chloe let out, shaking her head quickly. Trying to head off to Trixie's room.

"Keep telling yourself that," Maze grinned, she'd stopped following her. "I'm surprised you came back, or he let you go"

Chloe frowned at those words. "Look, Lucifer kissed me, we talked earlier...about us, me and him...I don't know what we are, so no more guessing... I have to check on Trixie" Chloe told her, leaving her and vanishing into Trixie's bedroom. Maze smirked to herself, she knew it wasn't long now until her and Lucifer are together.
