Olivia had one thing on her mind all of Sunday. Why had she kissed Courtney again? Olivia remembered it vividly. For sure she couldn't blame any of it on Courtney because it was Olivia who directed it.
But, Olivia thought. It was Courtney who that she didn't get the kiss after lunch.
Does Courtney remember what happened?
Olivia dropped her previous thoughts. She pulled out her phone to text her, but stopped. How does she just bring it up?
Hey, remember after the party when we kissed?
No?
Oh. Well we did.
Olivia decided to just text and hope Courtney brings it up instead.

"Hey Court," Olivia texted. It took a few minutes, but Courtney got back to her.
"Sup Olive."
"Hey I just wanted to say thanks for the whole treat thing on Friday. That was fun. Maybe we should get Noah and Keith and do that again." Olivia wanted to get Courtney talking about Friday to hopefully talk about what had happened.
"Alright Bae, I'll set it up again. It was no problem."
"Bae. So did you like the party?"
"The party was okay. I met a few of Shayne's other friends."
"Shayne other friends. As in his acquaintances?"
"I'd describe them that way if I knew what I saw."
Olivia waited for another minute. Courtney didn't seem to be typing anything more.
"So your house was pretty cool. Are we going to meet your sister soon?"
"I mean sure if you really want to."
"Maybe."
":]"
"So do you do that often? Having a treat like that?"
"Not really. I thought it'd be fun to do that with you guys though."
"And did you have fun?"
"Of course. Anything with you is fun Bae ;)"
Olivia smiled at the text. However Courtney didn't add anything more. She was really hoping that Courtney would just bring up the kiss.
"God dammit Courtney, do you remember the kiss?"

"Haha that was your little goal here was it?"
"I'm curious."
Olivia waited half a minute without a response. Nothing so much as the little icon showing that Courtney was typing something. Then her phone started to ring. Courtney's number blinking.
"Hello?" Olivia answered.
"So the kiss," Courtney replied back. Olivia cleared her throat.
"Did you really not remember having the kiss at the school?"
"Did you really not remember either?" Courtney countered. Olivia bit her lip.
"No," she stretched.
"And if I remember correctly, you said it was the best kiss in the world!" Courtney exclaimed. Olivia's face heated up quickly. That was a faint memory.
"You seemed to think so," Olivia said. Courtney bursted out laughing.
"Damn right I did," she said amid her fit. Olivia smiled.
"So really, why did you do it?"
"Wait what?" Courtney asked, stopping almost immediately.
"Kiss me."
"Ok Sui, you can't blame this on me. I'm pretty sure you had an iron grip on my face."
Olivia didn't say anything.
"Now tell me, you got a hickey?"
"What? Why-Why would I have a hickey?" Olivia grabbed for her neck instantly. She stumbled to get up from her bed to get to a mirror.
"Umm, nothing. Nothing, it's nothing! I didn't even do anything," Courtney stated into the phone. Obviously hearing Olivia rush to get to a mirror.
"Did you give me a love bite?" Olivia asked, searching in a mirror. She moved her shirt back, looking for signs.
"I wouldn't dream of it. Really," Courtney answered, her voice cracking. Olivia didn't quite catch that, too busy searching her neck area.
"Oh...Kay. My neck is a no-go but my lips are-"
"Your lips are the least of my worries at the moment. I didn't do anything to your neck, I can swear it," Courtney tried to get the whole thing under wraps.
"Why did you ask?"
"I seemed to forget everything after the kiss. Do you?" Courtney asked worriedly. She remembered what she said about James and liking Olivia. She hoped that Olivia hadn't heard it.
"I guess. I went to sleep right after. So for sure, you didn't do anything to my neck after I feel asleep though?"
"I wouldn't do anything to you if you didn't say yes. But the kiss...You didn't say no, so..." Courtney drifted off. Olivia chuckled.
"What are we?"
"Friends," Courtney stated, sighing. Olivia heard another voice on Courtney's end.
"You don't dream of the lips on her face but-"
"Shut up! Get out of my room!"
"Okay, I'll let you dream of phone sex-"
Then Olivia heard a door slam shut.
"Umm, sorry...She thinks any girl I talk to...That I umm."
"It's fine," Olivia said, chuckling.
"Okay."
