Chapter 10

Olivia made it back home. Having not seen Courtney after the bell but she wasn't worried. She greeted her mother and left for her room.
She sat on her bed and started to wonder what the party would be like. She wondered what Courtney would be like to party with. Whether she'd go crazy and drink a lot of booze that's for sure being provided there. Or if she'd stick with the squad the whole time. Or if she'd drink some and run off with someone for the night.
Olivia thought back to the second day she was here. When she came out to her new friends without a second thought. Words toiled in Olivia's mind.
"She'd run off with a girl right?"

Olivia didn't have any problem with Courtney running off with anyone. Whether or not she did, it'd be up to her to get back up in the morning and deal with it.
Olivia then thought if she would be responsible of dealing with Courtney if she got piss drunk. The guys drink some. Olivia doesn't really like to, so for sure Olivia is usually the designated driver. It would be Olivia's responsibility to watch out for Courtney.
It made her smile.

Olivia remembered when she, Noah, Keith and Shayne went out to their first party.
When Noah met Anthony and he promptly invited them out to Joe's party. It was like a creating a new bond with the guys.
That same party was where she first met James Law. Sure they were both sophomores, but she hadn't been formally introduced to him. Or rather informally because it was at a party. James helped guide her around the place, and find the guys again after she lost them. Olivia had been star struck by James since.
In her media class, James had asked her to be his partner for a small project. Olivia was ecstatic. He was a great partner.

Olivia's mind drifted back to Courtney. She thought about how blatant she would be about her 'crush' on Olivia. It made her chuckle.

Olivia took a breath in. She wanted to clear her mind, and save the worrying about the party, for the party.
Then her cell phone dinged.
"Guess who has your number?"
Olivia stared at the text message.
"So what time is our party date?"
Olivia started to smile at the texts. She added the number as a contact and wrote the name as just: "Courtney."
