Still Friday
Courtney: R U sleeping
Courtney: don't be sleep Livia wake up
Olivia: Courtney its late, do you need something?
Courtney: go ouside 4 meIt was almost midnight, and the texts messages she got made Olivia very, very worried. What did Courtney need so late at night? Olivia was having a hard time sleeping, so instead of struggling in her bed, she was studying.
Haphazardly putting a jacket on to withstand the chill of the night, Olivia looked around the road.
Courtney Miller, was barely jogging towards her. Her coordination explained everything.
"Courtney," Olivia greeted, putting her arms out to steady the blonde.
"Olivia, that was a long run and I forgot where you lived but I'm here now," Courtney explained, out of breath. Her breath was tethered to alcohol but not enough to overpower Olivia's senses.
"Courtney you're drunk, what're you doing?" Olivia held the girl's waist after she almost fell forward onto her. Courtney, albeit drunk Courtney, hummed to being in Olivia arms. She responded by loosely wrapping her arms around her neck. Like a slow dance, but with Courtney's exhausted but excited movements.
"I came to tell you stuff that I thought about telling you all day, okay? You gotta listen to me," Courtney rubbed the back of Olivia's neck and stared off into space, thinking of the words.
"Courtney it's late, I think you should go home. I'll drop you off-"
"No, shh Liv, take me to your room, and then I can tell you. My sister is sleeping, we can't wake her up or else she'll worry even more!"
"Courtney," Olivia said, torn. "You can tell me tomorrow okay? Come, I can take you home-"
"I'll be better okay? I'm only gonna say what I have to, take me to your bed. Cuddle me and make me feel like I never have to do this again, okay?"
"Courtney, that's not a good idea. Aren't we in the middle of a fight? Isn't that what we're doing?"
"Shh, best friend's aren't like best friends we are, it doesn't count. Come on, when I wake up I'll deal with it and then we'll make up!" Courtney urged the girl to go back to her apartment.
"That's not a good idea-"
"This isn't a good idea anyway Olivia! I fell in love with my best friend, take me to your room and I'm going to explain."
Exasperated, Olivia resigned and let the blonde lead her up. Carefully directing her to her room as to not make noise to alert her mother. When Olivia shut the door, Courtney looked ready to speak.
