You were tired of being bossed around. It doesn't help that this was because you lost a bet. What bet? Thor said you couldn't beat four people at an arm wrestling contest. You beat Tony and Bruce, struggled through Clint, and ultimately failed upon Steve nearly smashing your arm through the table.

You were hoping you would get to see the burly Asgardian bending to the team's every whim, but now it was you who had to suffer.

"(Y/N), run to the store and get me fruit and batteries, and remember that you need to rub my back when you come back," Tony said once.

"Hey, (Y/N), you should wash the dishes. Oh wait, you have to," Clint teased. You were at your breaking point with two weeks to go. You finally got to rest one day when Loki knocked on your door. "Thor told me you must massage his back."

"Well, I'm not going to."

"I'm afraid you lost a bet, it is only fair."

"Since when do you care about what's fair?" You snapped.

"Since my brother stopped asking me to do things for him." He smirked that irritating, gorgeous, sexy smile. "So, with that said, go massage my oaf of a brother." He went to turn away, but you grabbed his wrist.

"Not so fast. I wanna make a deal with you." There was that smirk again. Why was it so appealing?

"Go on."

"Impersonate me for today. I just need a break."

"What's in it for me?" His blue eyes gleamed with mischief. His lips were still pulled up devilishly.

"Whatever you want. For one day."

"Oh, that's not enough compensation. Make it one week, and I'll do it." After a moment of consideration, you accepted, albeit reluctantly. "I'm glad to take this opportunity."

"Bite me."

"Maybe later." With that, you got out of your day of chores. You didn't realise how much worse your work for Loki would be. He had managed to convince the other Avengers to take it easy on you for the following week so he could have his fun.

"Darling, bathe me," was his first command. You were flustered, obviously. Nonetheless, you scrubbed his body clean and dry. You made him meals, dressed him. This was all made precariously difficult because of your hidden, yet large crush on the god.

The last day was approaching, and you hated knowing you were going to miss constantly waiting on him hand and foot. You could tell he knew it, too.

"(Y/N)," he called. "Come." He waved his hand for you to approach. "What do you see?" He motioned to the sidewalk below the terrace you were standing on.

"A sidewalk, humans, grass."

"Rather dull answers, but it's better than nothing." He placed a slender hand on the center of your back. You were wearing a (garment) that Loki had wanted you to wear everyday. "I want you to close your eyes. Imagine somewhere you wish to be." You did as requested. "Now open your eyes."

You stood on a cliff overlooking the ocean. Behind you was a small cottage.

"Do you enjoy it here?"

"Yes. It's beautiful. My parents used to take me here when I was young." Loki pulled his hands through your hair.

"You do know you are beautiful, yes?"

"I wouldn't say that." You looked down in embarrassment. "You deserve someone better than me, Loki. Don't waste your time."

"I have plenty of time to waste, and I cannot imagine anyone more worthy to waste it with than you." His smile was sweet, soft this time. With a gentle tug, he pulled you into the cottage and to a bedroom. You grew incredibly flustered.

"Don't think such dirty things, I merely want to cuddle, and to become, what do Midgardians call it? Partners, significant others, take your pick of lables."

"I think that would be nice." You pressed your bodies against each other. "By the way, I want to thank you for taking me away from the tower. I couldn't have picked a better getaway."

"Anything for you, love."
