Today was the day. I was going to tell my husband of 6 years that I was pregnant with our second child!
Our first born; Owen Michael Hosmer is just like his daddy, all about baseball and I'm hoping this second one a girl because I need a little princess in my life.
I have set up a photo shoot and Eric doesn't know about it yet, but I'm telling him before we leave for the photo shoot and the photo shoot is for the second pregnancy.
I got up around 8 because of the morning sickness and I went downstairs and saw that Eric had breakfast made and was eating with Owen and he is honestly the best dad there is and Owen and the baby have the best dad there is.
"Good morning beautiful." He said getting up and fixing me a plate and handing it to me and giving me a kiss. "Morning baby, thank you for breakfast." I said sitting down next to Owen. We had our usual family breakfast and Eric cleaned up while I went upstairs to get Owen ready for the day.
I put his "I'm going to be a big brother" shirt on so Eric could see. "Alright baby, let's go show daddy your shirt." I said and he ran out of the room and went to the living room where Eric was. "Daddy, look at my shirt!" He said and Eric took a good look at it and looked back at me.
"You're pregnant?" He said and I nodded with a smile and he got up and gave me a huge hug and a kiss. "I can't wait to have another baby with you." He said once he set me down. "I hope it's a girl." I said and he laughed and then I told him about the photo shoot.
I got ready and then got Owen ready and then we went to the stadium and had the photo shoot and they came out amazing. We had our first pregnancy shoot here and our engagement photos so it only seems fitting to have these done here too.
They had a game tonight so of course the guys were here getting ready and they all gave us their congratulations and they couldn't wait to have another Hosmer join the team. Owen loves all of his Unlces on the team they spoil him to death and he just basks in it.
I just hope he doesn't feel left out when the new baby comes. I put Owen in his Hosmer jersey and I changed into a matching one and then we went to our seats and watched the game and I got some of the pictures from the photo shoot and decided to put one on Instagram.
I couldn't wait to have another baby with the love of my life, what a life I have. Eric as my husband, pregnant with my second child and blessed with my first born Owen. Life doesn't get any better than this.
