I've been married to Kris for 6 years now and we have two beautiful girls, McKenzie Elizabeth (6) and Brittany Nicole (3) and we have another little one on the way! Kris is hoping that it's a boy because he's always said to me "There are too many girls in this house and I want a boy." I could care less, the baby is healthy and that's all that matters to me.
McKenzie and Brittany are daddies girls to the max, they have Kris wrapped around their finger and it's pretty funny to watch. McKenzie plays soccer and does dance while we just started Brittany in dance and we were doing Mommy and Me classes for gymnastics until I found out I was pregnant so we started doing her on her own classes for gymnastics.
Today Kris and I were going to the doctors to see if we were having another girl or a boy finally. Anthony and his wife Emily were coming over to watch the girls since we really didn't want to deal with them at the doctors office.
"Alright girls, be good for Uncle Anthony and Auntie Emily okay?" Kris said giving hugs to the girls and then they came over to me and gave me a hug. "Where you going mommy?" McKenzie asked me. "We're going to find out if you're going to have another sister or a brother." I said kissing her forehead.
"Thank you both for watching them." I said to Anthony and Emily. "Oh it's no problem, we love watching them, it's good practice." She said smiling at Anthony. "Wait are you telling us you're pregnant?" Kris said looking at the both of them and Emily nodded.
"Oh my god congrats! I can't wait!" I said giving her a hug and then I gave Anthony another hug before we had to leave for the doctors office. We got there in no time and got right in and saw my doctor right away.
"Alright so are you ready?" He asked and we both nodded. "It's another girl!" He said and I smiled and looked at Kris and I could tell he was disappointed but he was still smiling. I sighed and got the pictures and we thanked my doctor and went back out to the car to go home.
"Kris are you okay?" I asked as he was driving. "Yeah I'm fine." He said and I sighed and grabbed his free hand. "Hey I know you really wanted a boy, but that just means we're going to have to try again." I said and he relaxed a little bit.
"You really want to have a fourth kid?" He said. "Of course, I kinda want a boy too, someone needs to play baseball with you." I said and he laughed. " I love you." He said looking over at me quick and I smiled and leaned over and kissed his cheek. "I love you too Kris."
