"Do I really have to be here?" I asked Aaron as we walked up through the dugout and on to the field of Yankee Stadium. He sighed and threw his arm around my shoulder, or should I say my neck because I come up to his stomach.
"Yes, I love when my step sister visits me! You're the only one I actually like." He said and I laughed. "I mean I would take offense to that but you're kind of right." I said and he laughed and went off to take BP and I just started to walk around taking everything in.
I bumped into a taller figure and landed on my ass, I'm beyond clumsy. "I'm so sorry. I should watch where I was going." He said helping me up. "I'm just clumsy, it's no worries." I said as I finally looked at the man who knocked me over.
A Red Sox player, a cute one at that. "What's your name?" He asked and I smiled. "LK, yours?" I asked. "Andrew, who are you here with?" He asked as we started to walk back over to the cage. "That guy, he's my step brother." I said pointing to Aaron.
"Oh so the new rookie of the year I can't compete with?" He said with a laugh and I did too. "Well yeah I guess. I've never seen you play so I can't tell you if you're better than him or not." I said and he smiled.
"I mean I'm a decent player, but nothing compared to him." He said and that's what we did for the rest of BP, made small talk and got to know each other. He was a great guy and very very attractive.
"So I saw you talking to the enemy." Aaron said and I couldn't help but laugh. "Yeah so what? He's a nice guy." I said and he smiled. "Just make sure he doesn't hurt you alright?" He said and I laughed.
"We just talked for one day, chill out Aaron." I said and I looked over in the Red Sox dugout and he was looking at the both of us and I smiled and waved at him and he did the same back. "See he likes you." Aaron said and I smiled and I couldn't lie, I liked him too.
