Today was the first day of my new job working for my favorite baseball team, the Boston Red Sox. I was going to be working with the team in their athletics department making sure they're all ready for the game.

"So how excited are you?" Mike asked me as we walked into the iconic Fenway Park for my tour. "It's beyond words to say how excited I am. This is going to be amazing." I said and he smiled. "You're mainly going to be working with the pitchers, is that alright with you?"

"That's quite alright, it's a job so I'll do anything." I said and he laughed. "You'll take that back when you meet the guys, they're like a bunch of kids." He said as we toured the clubhouse and all the guys were out on the field so it was empty.

"Olivia, you coming?" Mike asked as I was just standing around taking in where I was and that this was going to be my everyday life now. "Yeah, sorry about that. This place is amazing." I said following him up the steps and into the dugout.

"Hey Mike, who is this?" Andrew asked bro-hugging him. "This is Olivia, our new pitcher trainer. Olivia, this is Andrew Benintendi." He said introducing the both of us. "It's a pleasure to meet you." I said shaking his hand.

"You're beautiful, but I have to go do BP." Well he was a little straight forward. "See, told you." Mike said as we walked up onto the field and towards the bullpen. As soon as we got there Mike bro-hugged all the boys, but one caught my eye, Joe Kelly.

"Boys, welcome your new trainer Olivia. Olivia, meet Joe Kelly, Robbie Ross, Craig Kimbrel, Robby Scott, Matt Barnes, Fernando Abad, Heath Hembree, Drew Pomeranz, Rick Porcello, Chris Sale, David Price, and Brandon Workman."

They all said their hello's to me and Joe Kelly waited around me longer till the guys left, I guess he thought I was cute or something. "So this is your first day?" He asked as we were just hanging out in the bullpen throwing.

"Yeah, I'm really excited." I said with a smile and he matched it. "Well I wanted to say good luck to you because we're a lot to handle, especially me." He said. "Oh so you play pranks then?" I said with a smirk.

"You know it." And that right there was the start of a beautiful friendship that eventually turned into a blossoming relationship.
