Being a Major League manager's daughter isn't easy when you play a sport. They always miss out on games and your biggest accomplishment. Except for this one. My dad had brought a couple of the guys to watch the biggest softball game of my career and of course he had to bring my crush, Yadier Molina. 

I sighed and pitched my heart out the whole entire game and of course, it came down to the last inning and the last batter and we eventually got a walk off home run and we all circled the plate and celebrated. 

I was walking back to the dugout and my best friend, who is the catcher walked up to me. "Yo I heard Yadi telling your dad that he liked you!" She said and I couldn't believe my ears. "Wait are you for real right now?" I asked. 

"Yeah, I was just as shocked as you are! Dude he freaking likes you back!" She said and we started jumping around. "Oh my god, I have to tell him back." I said as I ran my hands through my hair. 

"We literally sound like teenagers right now but that's okay!" She said as she hugged me then she pointed to my dad and the guys and I smiled and grabbed my things and went over to them. "You did so good sweetie, I'm so proud of you." My dad said as we pulled away from our hug and I went on to the other guys and I stayed around Yadi a little longer. 

"Can we talk?" He asked and I nodded and we excused ourselves from everyone and went and sat up in the stands. "So I don't know where to begin with this but..." He started but I cut him off because I knew where he was going with this. 

"I like you too Yadi." I said and he looked shocked. "How did you know?" He asked and I laughed. "My best friend over heard you talking to my dad and she told me." He shook his head and laughed. "I should really be more quiet huh?" 

"Nah I like it when you're loud and fun." I said and I scooted closer to him and leaned my head on his shoulder. "So you really do like me too huh?" He said and I smiled. "What's not to like, you're funny and you're an amazing player and you're so sweet." 

"I think all the same about you, so how about a date?" He asked and I nodded. "I would love that." I said and he smiled and hugged me. I couldn't believe my dream of being with Yadi was coming true.
