"Baby wake up, we're about to land." Was what I woke up to after a nine hour flight from Philadelphia to Venezuela to meet Cesar's family. I groaned and woke myself up and put on my seatbelt so we could land.

"Are you excited to be here?" He asked as we walked through the airport. I smiled and took his hand in mine and nodded my head. "But I have to say, I'm a little nervous to meet your family." I said with a sigh.

"There's no need to be nervous baby, they're going to love you. I just know it."  I wish I had the confidence he had, because I really needed it right now. We got our bags fairly quickly and got a rental car and went off to his parents where we would be staying for two weeks.

I had a job to go back to and Cesar knew that so we agreed on two weeks instead of the whole offseason. "Mama, papa!" He said as we walked through the front door of his parents house. There was a lot of commotion coming from the kitchen and then his mom appeared and she got the biggest smile on her face.

"Oh baby, I've missed you so much!" She said giving him the biggest hug. She knew great English for someone living in a Spanish country. "Mama, I want you to meet Abigail. Baby, meet my mom." He said introducing us.

"You're even prettier in person. Cesar, you underestimated her beauty." She said giving me a hug. "I surely did not. I told you she was beautiful." He said with that million dollar smile of his. "Yeah but not this beautiful!" She said bringing me over to the couch and sitting me down.

"I'm gonna go unpack our stuff and I'll be back." He said kissing my forehead and disappearing upstairs. "So tell me everything I need to know about you." She said and I smiled. "There really is nothing much to me to be honest. I have a job back home in Philadelphia."

"Ah so that's why you're only staying for two weeks." She said and I nodded. "I wish we could stay for longer though, I know how much Cesar misses you and his dad." I said and she smiled. "We miss him too, but as long as you make him happy back home, that's all that matters to us."

"He makes me unbelievably happy and I hope I do the same to him. You'd have to ask him that though." I said with a laugh. "Ask me what?" He said as he came downstairs. "Does she make you happy?" His mom asked and he got the biggest smile on his face.

"More than words can explain mama." He said kissing me and I smiled, I couldn't be any more lucky to be here in his home country meeting his family.

A/N: Hope you loved it!
