                          Requested
                          I was invited to the after party of the World Series because I was a reported for the team and I was excited because I hoped I would finally meet my long time crush, Tyler Naquin. I was going to the party by myself, I know what a loner. 
                          I got my dress and heels on as my hair and makeup were done already and got an Uber and headed off the party. I thought about how I was going to meet Tyler on the way there and shook the thoughts when the car pulled up to the venue. 
                          I showed the guard my ticket and he unhooked the rope and let me in. I gave my coat the coat check guy, I really don't know where to go so I just followed the loud music and it lead me to the room that was full of people. 
                          I got handed a drink by one of the players and downed it really quickly, I've had a bad week with all of the traveling and I needed this party to let loose. "Hey pretty girl." Some random guy came up to me and he reeked of alcohol. 
                          "Uh hi." I said not really wanting to get involved with him. "What you doing here all alone?" He asked getting closer to me and I was just about to respond when I heard a voice from behind me. "She's not here alone, she's here with me, right babe?" 
                          I recognized the voice as the one and only Tyler Naquin. I smiled at the creep. "Yeah, I'm here with my boyfriend." I said and the guy scoffed and turned around and walked away and I let out a sigh and turned to face Tyler. 
                          "Are you okay?" He asked and I smiled. "Yeah I'm perfectly fine, thank you for that though, you didn't have to do that." I said and he smiled. "It's no problem at all. I always have to help the damsel in distress when I see one." He said and I laughed. 
                          "And how often is that?" I asked and he smiled. "Not often, I'm Tyler Naquin, but I'm sure you know who I am. You are?" He said holding his hand out for me to take. "I'm Destiny." I said with a smile and he took my hand and kissed it. 
                          "A beautiful name for a beautiful girl." And that's where the whole story of Tyler and I started.
