Camila entered Lauren's room in the hospital with an extra skip in her step. Today was the day Lauren would finally be going home. Camila had yearned for almost six to seven months now, if you counted Lauren's captivity, for her to wake up beside her wife. She remembered waking up with the smell of her wife's hair in her face with fondness, and was anxious to feel her hard arms around her, as she slowly greeted the day.

She wasn't the only one who was anxious today. Her whole family was over the moon to have their leader back home, and was excitedly picking out board games and movies to help make the transition a little smoother for Lauren.

Camila stepped into Lauren's room with a smile, and froze in her entrance at the adorable sight of her wife sleeping quietly on her right side, gripping the pillow she had asked Camila to spray her perfume on. When Lauren struggled with not seeing Camila for more than a couple hours in the beginning of her return, she had asked Camila to spray her pillow with her scent, hoping it would bring her comfort. Fortunately it did, and it always touched Camila to see her wife taking comfort in her scent.

She slowly made her way to Lauren's bed side, and quietly knelt near her face. Gently brushing aside hair that had fallen in wife's face. She carefully brushed the back of her hand against her wife's cheek, smiling softly at the flutter of her soulmates eyes as they awakened by her touch.

Lauren recognizing her wife's touch, without needing to see her, sighed into her hand, savoring the feeling of her other half. Her eyes slowly opened, and Camila's heart lurched at the love shinning through her wife's glistening eyes.

"Good morning." Camila whispered, caressing her hair lovingly.

"I love you. I know I say it all the time now that it probably gets redundant, but I love you so much. Waking up to your face is worth every bad thing I've ever had to endure. It's so overwhelming at times, I can't help but tell you how much I love you." Lauren rasped out quietly, as tears of overflowing emotion leaked from her eyes.

"Shh... It's okay." Camila whispered as Lauren sniffled quietly.

"I know you love me. And after months of not having you here with me, I can honestly say I will never tire of hearing you say it. You could lose your voice, and yet your eyes would speak every word unspoken. I can feel your love in just the way you look at me. That alone, is worth everything to me. So never say the words are redundant, because absolutely nothing about us could ever be too much. Not to me. Not when I know how it feels to yearn for even a whisper from you. You were the best thing that ever happened to me, and today, you still are. You are my other half, half my soul, and the woman who gave me the most precious child I could have ever hoped for. So you tell me you love me when ever you want, how many times you want, because I promise you I will never tire of hearing it." Camila whispered, giving her wife a loving kiss on the forehead as her own tears mixed with Laurens.

Lauren chuckled, and rasped out, " Look at us all corny and heavy this early in the morning."

Camila smiled and said, " I wouldn't have it any other way.

When Lauren and Camila finally made their way to their home level, they smiled as they stepped out of the elevator to Dinah and Normani bickering.

Hearing their voices, almost perfectly shouting through the hallway made a rush of comfort rush through Lauren. Some things never changed.

"Dinah I swear to God if you don't step off my wings we will have a throw down!" Shouted Normani, clutching her bowl to her with a frown.
