Prophecy of Five: The cost of innocence (g!p)

New bonds and alliances

Camila whirled towards Demi who was already braced for a verbal attack.

"What do you know?! I demand you tell me Demi!" Camila shouted crying.

"You can't hide stuff from us? Your our Guardian!" exclaimed Normani.

"I'm your wife!" Exclaimed Ally.

They all jumped back when Demi's voice boomed across the room.

"I am YOUR GUARDIAN before I am your friend, sister or WIFE! If I have any hope of keeping you all alive, I have to be unbiased. You all are incapabale right now of being unbiased. I love you all, more than I love my own life, and if I am doing something that I deem the only way to win this war, then you will follow me without question or you will die!" Demi roared shaking.

"What do you mean Aunt Demi..." asked Athena nervously.

"I had a vision after Lauren presented a plan to me. If we don't follow what she has already set in motion, then we all die including our children. I am telling you, you may not like what is going on right now, but it is our only choice. I saw different versions of this vision, and they all say if you find out before the time is right, everything you hold dear will be lost. Do you understand? Your distrust of us and our decisions causes us to die! So you will stop this constant need to control everything around you, because you've imbalanced the bond. Your job is to focus on the present and in training as many warriors as you can." Demi boomed.

There was a silence around the room as her words sunk in. The idea that their attitudes could cause the end of their family, made them shiver in fear.

"We have to stop guys. We have to. I'm worried for our kids too, but there's a point where we have to let go. Yes, its earlier than anyone of us expected... but I wont lose my child because I had to smother her to keep her safe. We trusted Demi when it mattered most, and we have to trust Sofie now. She trained with us, fought along side us... she has proved herself. We have to trust her to take care of our girls or they'll die, and I can't be a part of them dying.... And Demi and Lo.... They have saved our lives over and over again. Lauren nearly died saving our lives too many times to count, hell Demi got tortured for us. If they say this is the only way, then we need to stop asking questions and do what has to be done. Questioning them is what will make us lose everything." Dinah whispered hoarsely.

"I agree. Demi wouldn't steer us in the wrong direction. She never has before. We saved the world and got our happy ending, and it made us cocky. We need to take a step back and let them do what they do best." Ally whispered in agreement.

Normani nodded and shot Camila a worried gaze.

Camila stared at Demi hard and asked,"In your vision... Did I still have my wife?"

Ally noticed, Marissa, Simon and Sofie tense, and she started to worry.

"I can't tell you that Camila. It would influence the vision, and I can't take the chance. When the time is right, you'll know I promise. Trust me when I say, I don't care what I have to do, You will have your wife at the end of this." Demi pleaded desperately.

Camila nodded, keeping her suspicions to herself and said,"Then lets get to work. We don't have time to waste."

Sofie led the girls to the underground Cafeteria where the surviving students were huddled to together awaiting their instructions.

When they entered the room, every eye was on the silver teen, staring at her in awe. Some of the stares were because of the obvious power she held, but most of them remembered her saving them with the five when they had lost all hope.
