The night I was first admited to the hospital, I had received a message from an unknown number.

It was a video, a threat to be exact. In the video, Rick was holding a long piece of wood.

Rick laughed. "This is what will happen if the police is involved," Rick had said in the video. He then took a few steps back and there, in the center was Mark who was sitting on a chair. His hands were tied back and his face were carved with bruises and cuts. I covered my mouth in shock, my hands were shaking. My phone almost slipped from my grip.

Mark looked very bad and he looked so lifeless.

Suddenly, Rick raised the piece of wood that he had been holding in the air. He then swung the piece of wood to hit Mark's back.

The video then ended just like that.

I laid back on the hospital bed, crying silently as my worry for him increased.

"Grandpa, can I go to Sokcho?"I asked, pouting in hopes of being allowed.

"No, you can't go out. You're not even fully healed yet," Grandpa replied while he was reading the newspaper.

"I have to find Mark. I need to check if there's anything there that can help me find him," I explained.

"I'm sure his friends are doing the exact same thing right now," Grandpa nonchalantly pointed out.

"But-" I continued to persuade him but Grandma suddenly came into the living room.

"여보 (Honey), I'm done preparing. Let's head to the restaurant," Grandma said to Grandpa.

Granpa stood up from his seat and put the newspaper down on the table.

His eyes then met mine and I begged him again by nodding and pouting. He replied my signal by shaking his head.

Sigh. I give up.

"Don't forget to do the laundry, Kiera," Grandma reminded me before stepping out of the house.

"Okay," I replied.

The door was closed from the outside and I waited for a few minutes just to make sure that they are not insight.

I took my bag and my phone. I then went out of the house and locked the door. I called for a taxi amd set my destination to Sokcho.

I know that it is wrong to disobey my grandparents but I believe that what I am doing right thing.

While I was on my way, I called Bambam.

"Hey Bambam, have you guys found anything in Sokcho?" I asked.

"Well, it's our third day searching this place but we haven't found anything. Oh, right. We found a neckclace this morning which I think is yours," Bambam suspected.

"Is the pendant a heart lock and key?" I asked, just to make sure that it was really mine.

"Yes."

"Alright, I'm almost there," I informed him and hung up the phone.

Once I had arrived, I could see that the Got7 members were all roaming around the building, searching for clues, without the police's involvement.

I approached Yugyeom and he looked so worried. I suddenly felt guitly again. "I'm glad you guys didn't call the police."

"We didn't dare to after you showed us the video threat when we were skyping. I actually feel so worried about Mark hyung but all we should be doing right now is to act rationally," Yugyeom said.

I nodded and BamBam approached me.

He handed me the necklace and I clutched it tightly in my hands. "So where did you find this?" I asked.

"It was at the building across from this one. Come here, I'll show you." BamBam then lead the way.

"It was between these two boxes," he said and pointed at the boxes in front of the building.

I took a closer look and saw a few drops of blood on the boxes. I gasped in shock, getting even more worried about Mark.

"Have you tried to track down his phone?" I asked BamBam.

"Yes, we did but we couldn't track him down. I think his phone was turned off," BamBam explained.

I started to search the area around it and found that the dripped blood was leading me somewhere.
"We tried to follow the dripped blood but we found nothing," JaeBum informed. I ignored him and continued to walk the path. At the end of the path, it was a wall covered by with fabric. I pulled the fabric away and the wall behind it was carved by blood. It was showing an irregular shape, just like how a map looks like.

Right, the map of Korea!

"Guys, guys!" I shouted.

"What, what is it? Are you okay?" Jinyoung asked.

"Yes I'm fine. This wall, don't you think its showing something?" I questioned, observing the wall even closer.

"I don't think - wait, is it the map of Korea?"Jackson guessed.

"I know, right? So this one, the one circled with blood..." I started.

"Perhaps, Jeju?" Youngjae guessed.

I ran back to the taxi which was waiting for me and went back to my grandparents house.

Both Grandma and Grandpa was there when I arrived, they seemed so mad at me.

"Where did you go?" Grandma started to catechize.

"Grandma, I sincerely really really apologize but I need your permission to fly to Jeju."

"What is this again?!" her voice started to become louder.

"Grandma, please believe me. Please listen to me. Mark was taken by the kidnappers because of me so I need to save him. I think he was brought to Jeju and I seriously need to go there," I explained to my grandparents.

My grandparents were quite for awhile. Grandma then nodded. "알았어. (Fine). But you can't go alone. Let's all go together," she finally agreed, crossing her arms by her chest.

"We'll leave this afternoon," I said.

Once we got off of the plane, we went straight to my grandparents' hanok to drop them off. After that, I instantly opened my GPS to track down Mark's phone and it was working.

Thank you God, that his phone was turned on. It showed that Mark wasn't far from where I was. I took a taxi and went to the location with the help of my GPS.

It lead me to a factory. I tried to open the front door but it was locked. I then walked to the back of the factory and found an opened door.

I peeked inside and heard someone talking.

"You don't have to get her involved, just deal it with me. She didn't do anything wrong," cried the person.

It was Mark's voice, for sure.
