[Mark's PoV]

I went back inside my room and unpacked the food that Kiera had brought for me anticipatedly.

On top of the container, there was a note sticking on it.

I cooked some food for you, it's not much but I hope you'll enjoy eating it. Get well soon!

-Kiera

"Why do I feel so honored that someone cooked this for me?" I questioned myself. A smile curved on my lips as I opened the container and the smell of the soup was filling up the room.

I took a sip of the soup and tried the other food as well.

"It tastes quite good," I commented, raising both my eyebrows in fascination.  Well, her cooking is not as good as those famous chefs but her cooking was sincere. I could feel it in the taste of the food, it was not bland, it was not even overwhelmed by flavours. It's just nice.

After I had finished my meal, the nurse came into my room.

"It is time for your health-check," she informed.

I nodded and got ready to stand up. The nurse checked all those things on the screen which I do not want to think about.

After she was done checking, she lead me to different sectors in the hospital to have a scan of my current condition.

When we were done we went back to my room and I sat back on my bed.

"Please wait for awhile, I am going to call your doctor,"the nurse said.

"Okay," I replied.

She went out to call Mr. Ahn, my doctor.

I stood up and took my phone which was already fully charged.

I checked the time and it was already quarter past two in the afternoon. Besides that, there were a few missed called from my manager and the other members. I was about to call them back when Mr. Ahn entered the room.

"How are you feeling?" he asked.

"I'm feeling better,"I answered politely and went back to sit on my bed.

He then used his stethoscope and asked me to inhale and exhale deeply. After that, he scanned through a paper on a clipboard which I think was filled with my health log.

"You're doing well for now, but you're not ready to be discharged. You're still quite weak and you need to finish the IV. You should rest well, and I will inform you if there is any news," he explained.

I nodded. "Okay, thank you for the information, Doctor Ahn."

"I'll get going now,"he said and left. Meanwhile, the nurse trailed behind.

Once I was alone again in the room, I called the others.

"Hey guys, it's your flying member here,"I chuckled.

"Mark Hyung?! How are you now? Are you alright?" Yugyeom started.

"Yes, I'm fine now. I'm still in the hospital though. But don't worry, I'm getting better already," I said.

"We miss you, you know. We were worried sick," Jinyoung said.

"We're sorry that we can't visit you yet, we're quite busy practicing for the comeback," Youngjae explained.

"It's good to hear that you guys are still working hard even though I'm not there." I praised.

"I hope you'll get better and join us again." Jackson said.

"We'll infrom Kiera if there is any news about us going there. She already told us that you didn't want this incident to be known by people, especially our fans. That's why we are trying to plan a 'trip' to Jeju for a few days to cover up this issue. I hope you'll be strong there." Jaebum informed.

"Thanks guys, for caring. You're the only ones who are always by my side." I said.

"Why do I feel teary so suddenly?" Jackson started.

"I know, right?" BamBam agreed.

I giggled.

"Oh no, Mark hyung, we need to go now. We'll talk to you again next time. Get well soon!" Yugyeom said.

"Alright, I'll get better and join you guys again. Have fun and take care!"

I smiled to myself, thinking how great it feels like to have such caring and wonderful people by my side.

I then turned on the television as I was bored. I scanned throught the programmes but nothing caught my interest.

"I'm so bored," I murmured. "If only Kiera was here, she'll talk with me. I can even bully her."

"Should I try calling her?"I questioned myself but before I knew it, I was already calling her as I placed my phone near my right ear.

I was disappointed when another women was the one who was talking. "Sorry, this number is unreachable, please call back in a while."

I dialed her number again for a few times but it was still unreachable. I texted her a hello but it was not even sent.

"Where is she? Is she mad at me or something?" I wondered to myself.

Maybe she's playing hard to get as I was the one to asked her to leave.

I'll be fine on my own. You should go home and rest because you're not fully healed anyway.

I'll be fine.

Did I really say that to her? Alright, I regreted sending her away.

I guess people were right. You will only realise the importance of that person's presence when they're gone.

Okay, this is weird. I guess I'm thinking too much.

I waved back and when I turned around the corner, my phone rang. It was a call from an unknown number.

"Hello?"

"Good morning, is this Ms. Han Chaerin?"the person on the other line questioned.

"Yes, may I know who is speaking?"I replied.

"This is a call from Moonlight High School, about your request for a registration, are you able to come this afternoon?"

"Oh, I think I might be able to," I answered.

"We are very sorry for the late notice. I will send you a text message regarding the venue, time and the documents needed," the person informed.

"Okay, see you later."

I rushed back to my grandparent's hanok.

"Hey Grandma, I need to go back to Seoul for my school registration. Do you guys wanna go home too?"I asked.

"It's okay, we want to stay here until next week, we haven't been here for a long time," Grandma said.

"Alright, I'll pack my necessities a little and take a flight back to Seoul. I'll come back by tomorrow morning," I told her.

"Okay, make sure to take care yourself, alright?" Grandma adviced.

"I will, Grandma."

Once I had arrived in Seoul, I was about to check my phone when it ran out of battery.

I rushed back home to change into better clothes. I tried to find my charger but I couldn't find it anywhere. I must've left it in Jeju.
