Sage gave me a journal. I mean it's really a diary but I like journal better. It sounds fancy, more proper. He said it would help me with my sudden rage. Since I kicked him he's been acting like I'm the crazy one. I do like writing in it. Sage unties the rope around my wrist so I can write. I have red scars all over my ankles and wrist. I have to hide it from him though. Wouldn't want him reading things like this. But if you are reading this... I hate you and you shouldn't kidnap people ya crazy! Anyway, (name) signing off.

I've tried to escape so many times. I'll say, "Hey, I need to go to the bathroom." Then Sage and Jack will argue and then eventually stop at a gas station anyway. It's always a gas station! Jack will untie me and then Sage will escort me to the girl's room. But he comes in with me! He has to sneakily peak inside the bathroom and make sure no one's there. If someone is Sage holds on to my arm and waits for them to leave. Once they're gone, I go into the stall while he turns away. Normally thought I just try to climb the toilet and push on of the plates on the roof off. I once got so close. I had pushed away the plate and was about to climb in when I ran into a spider web. I sneezed and then Sage unfortunately noticed. When you first look at him you'd think he's just some wimp. But he's got strong arms oddly enough. He grabbed my feet and yanked me down with one pull. If you're wondering why I don't scream or get someone's attention, it's because Sage has a gun held against me at all times. Just before we go inside he pulls out a gun and shows me it's bullets and what not. "I will shoot you if you attract attention," he'll hold it up to my head to intimidate me. A loaded gun! On my head! And then everywhere we go he hides it in his leather jacket pocket, just in case. What I've found so shocking so far is the fact I haven't seen any kind of Amber Alert. I mean there are three teens missing. One of our parents must be worried, right? I just hope my mom does something soon.

I've been starving myself as an act of rebellion and anger. Plus I just don't like the food. Every GAS STATION we pass, Jack stops and grabs some food. The reason I capitalized gas station is because i'm sick of them. Everyday. Gas station. Gas station. Gas station! He grabs stuff like Doritos, Twinkes, or anything really unhealthy. There is currently a pile of the food sitting in the car. We always have on window down because it smells so bad. Well i'm feeling sick now. See you.

It happened! Finally! We were all in the car as normal, I was writing yesterday's journal entry. But then I had to throw up. I slapped my hand over my mouth to keep from vomiting. Sage looked over at me as if I was crazy and raised an eyebrow. "I think i'm going to be sick!" I yelled at them. "W-What!? Like throw up sick!? Ew ew ew! Stop Jack!" Sage freaked out. The car made an awful screeching noise as Jack turned into yet another gas station. Like, how many gas stations are there? Sage quickly untied my ankles and pulled me out of the car. He surprisingly forgot his gun and I knew now would be a perfect time to escape. But I really did have to puke. We walked into the building and rushed to the bathroom. No one was in there luckily. Sage, for once, stayed outside beside the door. I vomited and then cleaned my face and mouth in the sink. I walked out of the restroom and suddenly I was pulled away again. Jack and Sage had pulled me behind one of the aisles. We were crouching down behind some food. "What are you doing!?" I whispered loudly. Sage put his hand over my mouth. "They put out an amber alert for all of us," Jack showed me his phone which had three pictures of us on it. I started to laugh when Sage removed his hand. "Shut up! Jack brought me my gun so now I can shoot you if you get to loud," he held the gun to my forehead. I immediately shut my mouth and felt like crying. Until the tv in the gas station cut to breaking news. "Three teens have suddenly gone missing. Their parents are asking if anyone has seen them." The news guy said. Then our pictures were shown. I have to say, they choose a really bad photo of me. The three guys working here all looked at each other. "Those kids just walked in here." One of them said. I could feel Sage shaking. Jack curled up into a ball as the footsteps came closer. "Oh they're right here!" The man pointed at us. Sage panicked. He pulled the gun away from my forehead and didn't know what to do. "Get the cops on the phone, we'll probably get some money for findin' em." The man laughed. Sage started to shake more. With anger. He stood up and pointed his gun at the man. "Woah kid, I know you must be scared but put the gun away." The man put up his hands. "We don't want anyone getting hurt do we?" He laughed nervously. Suddenly Sage shot the man in the stomach. "The only one getting hurt here is you!" He yelled at them. "You two!" Sage turned to the others. I glared at the man laying on the floor and groaning. Blood stained his shirt and I started to cry. Jake was frozen. He didn't move, he didn't speak, not even blink. "Get the hell over here!" Sage commander the two. The did as he said out of fear. "Now, I wouldn't normally do this. But sometimes it's just gotta happen." Sage walked to the man. "Nothing personal, just... Business." He shrugged. I closed my eyes. I knew what came next. To gunshots and then two thuds. Jake hugged me suddenly. He was mumbling sorry over and over again. "You're sick kid!" The man who was hit in the stomach was still alive. "You're sick!" He spat at Sage. Another loud bang and the man stopped speaking. "Sick! Me! Ha! Hahahaha!" Sage laughed. "Come on Jack, pal, let's hit the road!" He chuckled and slapped Jack on the back. I don't know why but everything went dark after that. I couldn't see or hear. Just darkness.
