RJ took a deep breath before he started packing his stuff. He will leave the Mendoza mansion tonight.
Over the past six days, he was able to experience a lot of things he never thought he would. From the heart to heart talks to the night they slept together and even the party last night, RJ will go home with a lot of lessons learned.
A few minutes later, he heard a couple of knocks on the door. He looked and saw Maine smiling at hi. He smiled back and continued on packing his things.
"Uuwi ka na pala ngayon." she said.
RJ nodded and looked at her. Maine then sat next to him and apologized for all the things she said and did.
"I'm sorry ah? I know I can be such a pain in the ass."
"Okay lang po yun."
"Please Tisoy, kalimutan mo na yung sinabi ko sa'yo hagabi."
"Kiss niyo muna ako." he replied, teasing her. Even though RJ is putting up a jolly front, deep inside he's already confused. His mind is telling him to do the right thing and just focused his emotions on Nicole. His heart on the other hand has opened up a space for the two of them, Nicole and Maine.
"Ih, sige naman na Tisoy ... that was very embarrassing."
He then stood up and closed the door.
"What are you doing? Sisigaw ako." she said.
"Assuming po kayo, ayoko lang na marinig ni Mamsie pinag-uusapan natin." he replied and once again sat next to her. RJ stared at Maine's face and saw her embarrassed reaction.
"Bakit niyo po ba pinipigilan nararamdaman niyo?" he asked.
"Eh bakit mo pinipigilan yung sayo? Tisoy, this is not right. We already had sex , that's not a normal thing okay? I fell for you Tisoy and that cannot happen because you're into Nicole." she answered. RJ gulped, this is the moment of truth.
"Eh paano po kung sabihin ko na may nagbago na sa nararamdaman ko? Paano po kung yung akala kong sigurao na ako eh hindi pa pala? Kasi ... mahirap nga pong maturuan ang puso di ba? Sorry din po kasi ... sa tingin ko po ... may nagbago dito eh." he said. RJ then took her hand and placed it over his chest.
"Tisoy ..." she said and he smiled.
"Mali 'to .... You don't have to say it anymore ... baka na ... carried away ka lang." she said and pulled her hand away. RJ pulled her in for a tight hug.
"I'm sorry." he whispered, knowing that the beginning of the end has finally arrived. He realized that he will have to choose over the next coming days.
"Please ... kung kailangan mong pumili samin ... piliin mo si Nicole ... tanggap ko na yung di pwedeng maging tayo .. tanggap ko na puro mali lang yung nagawa natin. I know kung ano man oyung nagbago jan , magbabago pa ulit yan. I'm perfectly fine." she said. RJ's heart stopped beating fast. Her honesty calmed him down.
He was about to say something but Maine already stood up and left. RJ was left behind , still sitting on the side of the bed feeling like he just lost someone important.

Maine wiped a tear away after she entered her own room. She surrendered everything tonight and hoped that God she made the right decision. She had a talk with her Mom and that made her realize how important family is over other sorts of relationship. She's willing to let him go if that would result into the happiness of her younger sister.
Suddenly, someone started knocking on the door. He looked at the peephole and saw RJ on the other side.
"Tisoy , matutulog na ako." she said.
"Mag-usap muna tayo."
"There's nothing to talk about."
"Meron ... tayo."
Feeling frustrated, she opened the door and lashed out on him.
"Tisoy ano ba? Hindi ako bulag, alam kong may gusto si Nicole sa'yo at crush mo siya. Alangan namang umasa ako na balang araw eh ako naman ang mamahalin ng puso mo? Ayoko ng may kahati ... ayoko na ako yung kahati ... so please .. kalimutan mo na lang lahat okay? Boss ako , worker ka ... yun lang tayo." she said. But before Maine could even pull out, he once again drew her for another hug.
"Di ko kaya." he whispered and that caused Maine's heart to skip a couple of beats.
"What?"
"Mas-gugustuhin ko pa na mag-resign na lang kesa umabot tayo sa ganon. Hindi ko po alam kung paano ko ipapaliwanag pero sa napaka-ikling panahon, naging importante kayo. Pati si Niknik, pareha kayong importante sa akin."
"Pero hindi pwedeng dalawa , Tisoy." Maine said and pulled away.
Maine gave him one last smile and shut the door on his face.

RJ started the day feeling positive, now he doesn't know what to feel. His problem has officially started. He has to choose. He does not want to lose any of them but Maine's right, he can only love one.
The young guy took a deep breath and walked away. He then went straight to Mrs. Mendoza to talk to her.
"Oh Tisoy, gising ka pa pala." she said.
"Kailangan ko po kasi ng payo eh."
"Umuulan ba?"
"Payo po .. PAYO."
"Ah ... tungkol sa ano?"
"Sa anak niyo po."

Maine woke up the next day already expecting the news that RJ resigned. But after smelling that familiar smell coming form the kitchen, she realized he's still there.
Maine then took a deep breath and went downstairs.
"Good Morning!" he greeted.
"Why are you still here?" she asked.
"Di ba sabi niyo hindi pwedeng dalawa? Nakapag-desisyon na po ako ... at ikaw yun."
