RJ smiled nervously. Nicole is here, and that means it's the beginning of the end for whatever is going on between him and Maine.
"Hello Tisoy." she greeted with a bright smile on her face.
"Hi." he answered, still smiling nervously.
"Tisoy, paki-tulungan kami magbaba ng gamit." Mamsie said and so he quickly walked past Nicole and started helping them carry their stuff.
He caught a glimpe of a very panicky Maine by the stairs. He quickly sneaked his way towards her and held her hand. Without saying a single word, he pulled her towards the back of the house.
"Anjan na si Niknik, kalma ka lang." he whispered in her ear. Maine has her back on the wall, it's clear from the look on her face that she is indeed anxious.
"I can't calm down, Tisoy. I'm too anxious."
"Anong an choose?"
"Anxious Tisoy, ANXIOUS. Kinakabahan ako." she replied. Knowing that her being anxious could spill their secret wide open, RJ resorted to something else. He leaned in and kissed her on the lips.
Her lips are soft, sweet and plump. If he has her alone, he would kiss her all day long. After that brief but tender moment, he pulled away and saw nothing but fireworks.
"Woah." they both uttered at the same time. Thankfully, RJ quickly snapped back tor realit andso they returned.
"Saan kayo nanggaling?" Mrs. Mendoza asked them.
"Nag-ki ..... ti .... tinawag ko po si Ma'am." RJ said, almost revealing the truth on them.
"Hi Niknik." Maine and the sisters hugged it out. RJ gulped at the sight of them, he can't believe two beautiful sisters fell for him.
He then smiled at Mamsie after she caught him staring at them. RJ knows Mrs. Mendoza is eyeing him closely. She may be kind but if it's the happiness of her children, he's pretty sure she will do anything for them.
"Bumili kami ng Pizza sa S&R tara kain muna tayo."

After she ate her pizza, Maine ran up to her room and locked the door shut. She then took a deep breath and called her friend Teresa.
"Hey, SOS ... mayday ... mayday." she said.
"What's going on?" Teresa asked.
"Nicole's here."
"Holy fuck."
"Holy Fuck indeed. What am I gonna do?" she asked, freaking out once again. RJ's kiss helped her calm down but after she felt some tension with her sister, it came back again.
"Stay calm?"
"How the fuck do I stay calm? Teresa, if Nicole finds out about RJ and I ... we're done for ... all of us."
"Maine ... RJ and Nicole weren't in a relationship before you two started messing around. He's single, you did not take him from her."
"Actually I did. Before she left, they made a promise to wait for each other. "
"Aw, how romantic ... it makes me puke." Teresa said and Maine almost giggled. She's never the lovey dovey type of woman.
"Now what do I do?"
"If you could ... if you feel like it would be for the better ... keep it a secret for now."
"You think so?"
"Yeah."

RJ's busy doing some landscaping when Nicole approached her. He gulped and smiled at her.
"Hi Tisoy." she said.
"Hello."
"Kumusta kayo dito ni Ate? I saw the pictures sa Facebook, nag-enjoy ka ba sa party." she asked her. The amount of guilt in RJ's heart increased instantly.
"Nag enjoy naman. Nag nosebleed ... pur english speaking pala nandun." he said and she giggled.
"Ganon talaga barkada ni Ate ... mga rich kid ... conyo kids. Anyway, I missed you." she said. The tone of the conversation quickly changed.
"I missed you too." he replied, hoping Maine is not around to hear it.
"May good news pala ako."
"Ano yun?"
"Next month balik na ako sa University dito. Tapos na nun yung hinahabol kong curriculum sa Baguio."
"Nice." he said, eyes fixed on the ground.
"And I have some good news for you."
"Ano yun?"
"I don't know if you'll accept it pero ... I would like you to be my last dance sa 18 roses ko." she said and his heart dropped. He looked up at her and saw a beaming smile on her face.
"Seryoso?"
"Oo naman. Please accept it?"
"Ah ... sige." he replied.
A few minutes later, Nicole walked away. RJ then stood up and walked to the back fo the house where he saw Maine fixing her bike.
"May problema tayo." he said ina whispering manner.
"Ano yun?"
"Tinanong ako ni Niknik kung gusto kong maging last dance sa debut niya."
"And you said yes?" she asked and so he nodded.
"Okay lang yun." she uttered.
"Okay? Paano naging okay yun?"
"Di niya pwedeng malaman yun tungkol sa atin. Masisira loob nun." she said.
"Magiging sikreto lang tayo?"
"For now."

Maine gave RJ a quick hug before they parted ways. She already decided on what's the best thing for them, and that is to keep whatever they have a secret from everyone else.
"Ate!" Nicole yelled and so she looked towards the direction of her voice. Maine walked towards the living room where she saw her sister sitting on the couch.
"What?" she asked.
"I saw Mike."
"Really? Saan?" Maine asked, surprised.
"Baguio of course ... pinapa-kumusta ka nga niya eh. He told me something." she replied and grinned.
"Ano na naman yun?" she asked, ready to walk away.
"Miss ka na daw niya." Nicole uttered, making her heart skip a beat.
"Asus ... anyway, na kwento ni Tisoy na siya pala yung last dance mo."
"Ah ... oo ... wala naman problema dun di ba?" Nicole asked. The tone in her voice reminded Maine of their rift from a few years ago.
"Wala siyempre." she replied and her younger sister stood up.
"Ate ... I know you like Tisoy."
