It's been two days since he and Maine met up at the coffee shop to talk about their plan. Now, RJ is more than ready to start preparing for it.
"Tisoy, aalis ka?" his mother asked.
"Jogging lang po." he answered.
"Jogging? kelan ka pa nag simula mag-jogging?"
"Ma, kasi tingnan mo naman oh .... nagiging dad bod na ako ... baka akala nga nila tatay na ako. Babalik na rin ako sa gym mamaya." RJ replied with a smile on his face. He meant what he said though. The young guy did not work out for the past month and that caused his ripped body to start changing again. He promised himself that after the Nicole situation is fixed, he will focus on getting himself back to shape.
"Hindi ka pa naman tatay di ba?"
"Bakit Ma? Gusto niyo na bang maging lola?" he asked.
"Loko kang bata ka ah." she said and RJ chuckled a bit. After stretching his arms and legs, RJ left their home.

Maine spent the past 48 hours trying to get Nicole to talk to her. She almost succeeded yesterday but her sister's mood suddenly changed and they weren't able to talk about the massive elephant in the room. The young girl started to lose hope that they will be able to fix the situation. History repeated itself and they're once again back to what they were before. And it took them a really long time before they got over it.
Today, she will meet RJ at a park so they could properly start their plan. After putting on her jogging attire, Maine stepped out of her room and went downstairs.
"Where are you going?" her mother asked.
"Jogging lang po." she answered.
"Bumalik ka agad ah?"
"Why? are we going somewhere?"
"Hindi naman, I just need to talk to the both of you. Hindi pwedeng ganito lang kayo. Kung kelan kayo nagsi-tanda tsaka pa kayo ulit mag-aaway sa lalaki." Mrs. Mendoza replied. The slight smile on Maine's face faded. She nodded and quickly walked away.
After she exited their house, the young girl took a deep breath and started jogging towards the park. Various thoughts filled up her mind and she could no longer decide whether they're still doing the right thing or not.
It took Maine half an hour before she reached the park. There she quickly saw RJ sitting under a tree waiting for her.
"Kanina ka pa, Tisoy?"
"Medyo."
"One hour na?"
"5 minutes na." he answered and she rolled her eyes.
"Grabe ka ah. Tara na." she said and so RJ stood up. The two stared at each other for a moment before they started jogging.
"Sa tingin mo kakausapin niya tayo eh ako ngang nakatira dun mismo hindi niya kayang harapin eh." she said after a few minutes of silence. The warmth of the morning sunshine felt good against her skin. Maine's forehead started sweating and she quickly wiped it away with the back of her hand.
"Edi akong kakausap sa kaniya. Maine, hindi lang ikaw ang may kasalanan dito. pareho tayo, kaya kakausapin ko din si Niknik." he said.
"Edi Good luck."

Later that morning, the two decided to rest on a bench under the tree. Richard removed his sweaty shirt and revealed his semi-toned body underneath. Due to lack of time for proper gym sessions, some of his muscles have turned to fat and he became bigger.
"Sus, tumaba ka na pala." she commented.
"Wag kang judger." RJ replied before he covered his abs. His cheeks quickly turned to red, he started blushing right away.
"Judger? My gosh ... Tisoy talaga."
"Pero Maine ... may iba pang mataba sa akin." he whispers teasing her.
"Huy!" she said and he laughed a bit. One of the things that RJ admires the most about Maine is that she has the ability to make him forget about reality. Whenever he's with her, RJ could feel like he's not in this world. Maine is his happy pill.
"Puso ... may mataba kang puso. Tsaka hita ... jusko .... ang taba ng hita."
"Pati si TJ mataba na."
"Umayos ka Tisoy."
"I mean Puso ... tama ... mataba nga puso ko."
Maine then sat beside him and closed her eyes. RJ smiled, admiring her natural beauty. He blushed and slowly leaned in. RJ kissed Maine on the cheek and she quickly turned to him.
"What was that for?"
"Wala, kasi ang ganda mo."
"Sus, mamaya na ang bola baka maniwala ako. Come on now, we have to think of something na siguradong maayong ang sitwasyon natin." she said.
"Actually, meron naman ah." he uttered. RJ then fixed his shorts to adjust and hide his growing bulge.
"Ano yun?"
"Kung aalis ako at di na magpapakita kailanman. Yun lang yung nakikita kong plan B ngayon eh." RJ answered. Maine quickly held his hand and told him that everything will be okay.
"Tiwala lang, di ba?" she asked him.
"Eh paano kung wala na talaga?"
Before RJ could even react, Maine already swooped in and kissed him on the lips. His heart slowed down and an overwhelming sense of calmness followed.
After that brief but sweet moment, Maine pulled away. She smiled and stared at his eyes directly.
"Ninja moves ka, galawang breezy." he said and she giggled.
"Baliw ... basta kung hindi mo na alam kung kanino maniniwala .... tawagan mo lang ako, hinding hindi kita pababayaan."

The silence of the mansion first greeted Nicole after she stepped out of her room. There's still an overwhelming amount of sadness in her heart but she is now feeling a bit better than the past few days. The young girl went downstairs and walked straight towards Yaya.
"Asan si Ate?" she asked.
"Nag-jogging po Ma'am, bakit po?"
"Wala ... kakausapin ko sana. Never mind." she said. Nicole then saw a glimpse of her Mom sitting outside. She took a deep breath and approached her.
"Good morning, Mommy."
"Good morning, pwede ba tayo mag-usap?"
"Sige po."
