"Aba, san ka pupunta?"

"Maghahanap po ng trabaho, nay." RJ replied while looking at himself in the mirror.

"Para san pa? Malapit na pasukan niyo ah." she replied before standing next to him. After making sure that his hair is perfect, RJ looked at her and smiled.

"Bakit ka nga magta-trabaho?" she asked again.

"Bibili po ako ng motor." he finally replied.

"Eh bakit di ka na lang humngi ng pera sa tatay mo?"

"Dun sa gagong yun? ayaw ko nga." he answered, turning his face away from her. RJ's relationship with his father is almost non-existent.

"Tisoy, tatay mo pa rin yun. Tsaka may pera naman tayo pang araw-araw ah. Nagbibigay siya ng sustento para sa inyo ng kapatid mo." her mother told him but RJ's mind is already made up.

"Ma, gusto ko pag bumili ako ng gamit para sa sarili ko eh galing sa bulsa ko. Tsaka part-time lang naman po ako eh , di naman po nagmamadali sa motor , magiipon po ako. Sa tabi-tabi lang po ako magta-trabaho, kahit house boy lang." he answered. Despite his unforgivingly good looks, RJ is not choosy when it comes to the type of work he'll take. As long as it is legal and not demeaning, he will do it.

"Di mo talaga mapapatawad tatay mo no?"

"Kayo po ba Ma, napatawad niyo na?" he snapped back.

"Tisoy ..."

"Sorry po Ma pero parehas nating alam na ang sakit ng ginawa niya sa atin. At dahil dun di ko siya mapapatawad." he replied. RJ did not say anything else, he grabbed his envelope and walked out of the house without even saying goodbye.

RJ's a very jolly, kind and positive person. He loves his mother very much but when it comes to his Dad, everything changes. He hates him with hi guts and he couldn't wait for the day he will be gone. That hate is slowly eating him up, but he doesn't mind at all. He uses it as his drive to reach all the things that no one thought he could. RJ will prove to his father he doesn't need him, and he will do whatever it takes to make him see it.

The young guy roamed the nearby subdivision and looked for signboards that would have job ads in it. Just a few minutes later, he already found one. RJ took a deep breath and went to the address.

"Soyti , kaya mo 'yan." he whispered to himself before pushing the doorbell button. After a few moments, the gate opened and a maid came to his view.

"Hello pogi, manliligaw ka ba ni Nicole?" she asked.

"Po?" RJ, replied, unsure of what to say.

"Ay shet , mukhang amboy ka pala ... um ... is you making ligaw to Nicole?" the maid asked again, clearly having a hard time speaking in English.

"Mukha ka pong constipated." he thought to himself while looking at the maid's face.

"Ay ... bakit di ka sumasagot baby? .... uh , baka si Maine. Is you ... you know ... making ligaw to Maine?"

"Sino po yun?" RJ finally asked.

"Harujusko. Tagalog ka pala , pinahirapan mo pa ako. Oh bakit pogi? kung hindi si Maine at kung hindi si Nicole ... sinong nililigawan mo? ay ako ba ... ako ba 'yun?"

"Uh ..."

"Ano? sige , sabihin mong ako yun."

"Wala naman po akong dalang flowers tsaka chocolates di ba? Tsaka di ko po hilig yung matanda."
