Two weeks have passed since RJ returned to school. He definitely missed the smell of new books, the sound of happy students talking to each other and the kind of stress that only coursework and school projects can bring. Being a student again gave him new sense of purpose. It inspired him to work hard and not waste a single moment. And due to his jolly personality and insane good looks, RJ already acquired a couple of friends and a lot of attention from his schoolmates. In fact, he's already considered a heartthrob by his female classmates.
"Where have you been? Akala ko di ka na lalabas." Maine told him when they met up at the parking lot.
"May inayos lang, love. Wait, buti alam mong sira yung motor ko?" he asked and pulled her close.
"Ugh, I was with you when that happened ... remember? Ang lakas nga ng sigaw ko nung bumangga yung motor mo dun sa bakod niyo eh."
"Oo nga pala, sorry naman." He said and scratched the back of his head. A minor accident caused his beloved motor bike to collide with the cement wall in their backyard.
Maine rolled her eyes and so he kissed her forehead. One minute later, he opened the door to driver's seat and let her hop on it. He then quickly ran towards the passenger's side and got in as well.
"San tayo niyan?" he asked.
"Sa inyo." Maine answered and then they drove away.

After a couple minutes of silence, Maine cleared her throat and glanced at him. She's extremely happy that RJ's already well on his way to achieving his dreams. But at the same time, she couldn't help but feel a bit anxious that his life's moving way too fast without her.
"I'm sure nag-enjoy ka na school. You're popular na no?" she asked and he smiled.
"Di naman .... Baka ngayon lang sila nakakita na mukhang pang artista." RJ answered and she laughed.
"Talaga lang ah?"
"Yes! Sinabi nga nila kamukha ko yung Alden Richards ba yun? Yung asawa nung isa ko pang crush? Si Yaya Dub?"
"Ih, di naman masyadong maganda si Yaya Dub eh. Oh anong sinabi mo?" Maine asked him.
"Siyempre sinabi ko mas gwapo ako dun. Tsaka mataba na siya ngayon di ba? Sabi ko maputi lang naman yun tapos parang marshmallow lang."
"Edi wow."
RJ laughed like a little kid.
"Speaking of Alden, medyo kamukha mo nga talaga yun no?" Maine asked and he nodded.
"Baka kapatid ko yun. Baka yung pangalan ko dapat eh Richard Richards."
Maine laughed a bit, shook her head forms ide to side and shifted her eyes back to the road. Several minutes later, they finally reached his house.
"Good Afternoon Po!" she greeted both of his parents.
"Good Afternoon din, Iha." Mrs. Faulkerson replied. RJ's Dad smiled and waved for them to come closer. The four of them gathered around the table and started eating some donuts while his younger sibling played outside.
After their short snack time, the two snuck to the back of the house and sat together on the hammock hat he set up during the weekend. She held his hand and rested her hand on his shoulder.
"Ikaw, kumusta ka na?"
"Okay naman. Mommy's going to Macau next week, wanna have a sleep over and clean the pool maybe? The new pool boy sucks so bad." She replied.
"Patingin ng suck." He said and so she pinched him ahr don the cheeks.
"Aray!"
"Loko ka talaga."
"Sorry na." RJ replied and wrapped his arms around her.
"Hindi ko inexpect na aabot tayo sa ganito. I thought, forever akong bwisit sa'yo."
"Gwapo kasi ako."
"Oo na." Maine finally admitted.
"Ako din naman eh. I thought forever ka ng galit sa akin kahit wala naman akong ginagawa. Love, mag-promise ka."
"Na ano?" she asked, sitting properly. RJ raised his hand and said the words that made her heart flutter wildly afterwards.
"Na walang sisira sa atin. Na tayong dalawa ang magka-sangga. Na ikaw at ako lang hanggang sa dulo." He answered and looked at her solemnly.
"I promise." She said and placed a hand at the side of RJ's face.
"Thanks for everything." Maine whispered and he smiled.
"You're a blessing, RJ. I love you."
"You are my whole life, Maine. I love you too."
The two gazed at each other's eyes and slowly, their heads moved closer to each other. Maine smiled at RJ and then they kissed.
