"Po?" RJ asked Mrs. Mendoza.
"Patingin nung Magic Mike." she said and a drop of cold sweat flowed down the side of his face. The young guy can do it, it's just that it's inappropriate and he already became a bit too shy because of her presence.
"Rated SPG po Mamsie, di po pwede." he replied and chuckled awkwardly. Mrs. Mendoza smiled and walked away from them.
"Si Mamsie talaga." Maine said before letting out a sigh.
"Okay lang yun. Bakit nabitin ka ba? Tara dun tayo sa likod, walang makakakita." he said and winked at her.
"Ih. Baliw! maligo ka na nga." she replied and stood up from the bench. RJ laughed and walked away. He grabbed his towel and stood irectly underneat the shower head. He took a deep breath and opened it. RJ's body shivered after the cold water touched his skin.
He glanced behind and saw that Maine returned. Thinking that it's a good time to tease her, he asked her a favor.
"Ma'am Maine Ma'am?" he asked.
"Oh ano na naman?" she asked back.
"Pasabon naman po yung likod ko oh, yung sa may bandang baba." he said and she rolled her eyes at him.
"Kukunin ko lang yung phone, manigas ka jan."
"Matigas na po." he said and she stopped on her track.
"Tisoy ..."
"Joke lang!" he said. After Maine left, the smile on his face faded. He can't deny that he's happy now but a part of him is still worried onw hat would happen once Nicole returns. RJ emant it when he said he chose Maine. However, Nicole still has a place in him that he can't just ignore.
After taking a shower, he went straight to the quarters to change his clothes. A few minutes later, he stepped out.
RJ was about to leave when Mrs. mendoza called him.
"Bakit po?" he asked.
"Eto yung bayad dun sa one week." she said and gave him an envelope. RJ looked inside and saw 5,000 pesos.
"Mamsie, di po kaya sobra na 'to? halos sweldo ko na po ito eh." he said.
"Okay lang yan, bonus na. Less than three weeks na lang birthday mo na di ba? Para may pang handa ka." she said. RJ's heart dropped. Nicole's birthday is within two weeks, it means she's going to come home any time soon.
"Thank you po." that's all he said.
"A few minutes later." he left.

Maine let out a sigh of relief after she was able to return in her own roof. RJ looked irresistible and if they were alone in the house she's sure she would have jumped him. Maine is in love, she could no longer deny that. However,s he's going to wait for him to say the "L" word before she does.
Suddenly, someone started knocking on her door. Maine opened it and saw her Mom.
"Pwede ba akong pumasok?" she asked.
"Sure." the young girl replie. Maine and her Mom then sat on the side of her bed and started talking.
"How are you?"
"Okay naman po." Maine answered.
"Di ko alam kung ano yung nangyari nung wala ako pero I sensed na may nag-ba." she said.
