"Pareng Soyti! San ang punta? Bakit ke gwapo natin ngayon?" His friend, Bogs, asked him as soon as he got to the Tricycle terminal. RJ smiled and then told his friend that he has a new job and that today is his first day.
"Trabaho brader , meron na ako!"
"Ows?"
"Oo naman, grabe siya. Anong akala mo sa akin? Di makakakuha ng trabaho?" RJ asked before he started flexing his muscles right in front of his friend. The thing about him is that he is really physically gifted, RJ is so attractive he can pass as an a model or an actor regardless of what he's wearing.
"Sus, san naman? Nga-model ka na ngayon brad? Baka naman porn star ka na?" Bogs asked, giving him a teasing smile.
"Brad, gusto ko yung trabahong yun!" RJ replied and they both laughed their asses off. After the laughter died, RJ shifted to his serious tone.
"Pero hindi eh."
"Ows?"
"Brader, nasikmuraan ka na ba ng ganito kaaga?"
"Hindi pa." Bogs said right away, swinging his head from side to side.
"Gusto mo ba?"
"Hindi siyempre, gago ka ba?"
"Oh edi shut up ka na lang. Credits to Daniel Padilla yun bro." RJ told him.
"Tingnan mo 'to, crush mo talaga yun eh no?"
"Ulol, sige na alis na ako. Ma-late pa ako sa trabaho."
"Service pare gusto mo?" Bogs offered.
"Sige brad ... three hours." RJ answered, giving him a wink.
"Gagu, lumayas ka na nga loko ka."
"Hah! Talo pikon! Basketball tayo mamaya tawagin mo tropa."
"Geh Soyti, akong bahala dun."
"Ayus."

"Maine? Almusal ka na oh."
"Mamaya na Yaya, may gagawin pa ako." she replied, eyes still glued at her laptop.
"Ano na? Si Evan pa rin? My God, Maine ... masyado kang maganda para ipako ang sarili mo sa iisang lalaki. Oo gwapo si Evan pero hanggang dun lang yun, pinaasa ka nga niya di ba?"
Maine removed her eyes from her laptop and turned them to her personal maid. The past few days have already been significantly hard for Maine heart that's why her mood is not great at all.
"Yaya, wala ako sa mood okay? Kung di mo kayang tumayo jan na wala kang sinasabi bumalik ka na lang sa kusina. Makipag-tsismisan ka kay Aling Tetay tutal pareho kayong madaldal."
The words just kept on flowing out of her mouth. Believe it or not, Maine was actually a very kind girl. But since the moment Evan broke her heart, everything about her changed. She started wearing nothing but black clothes and dark make-up. Her sister Nicole calls it her goth phase but their mother believes it's for good. Maine on the other hand doesn't know which one of them is right.
"Sorry."
"So ano Yaya? Tatayo ka jan o lalabas ka?"
Her maid took a deep breath and stepped out of her room. Maine just grunted and turned her eyes on the streets right outside their gate. She started wondering about the lives of the people passing by.
"Masaya kaya sila?" she asked herself. A few moments later, she saw a familiar face and her eyebrows quickly furrowed. Maine frowned and marched downstairs to meet him upfront.
But as soon as she got there, she already saw him talking to her mother and sister. Maine walked towards them and introduced herself.
"My name is Maine Mendoza , you must be the pool boy." she said. Maine can feel Nicole giving her a look but she doesn't care. She hates his overall vibe and she will do her best to make sure he'll get that message.
"Hi, RJ pero Tisoy na lang itawag mo po sa akin." he replied, extending out his hand in order for them to do a handshake.
"Ew."

RJ's heart skipped a couple of beats, Maine's hostility towards him already made him nervous. he looked at her younger sister and saw a faint smile on her face.
"Iwan ko muna kayo ah, may gagawin lang ako." Mrs. Mendoza said before walking away from them.
"Ah Ma'am Nicole, sabi ng mama mo ikaw daw magpapatulong sa akin ngayon." RJ told her, hoping to start his first working day already.
"Oo. Pero ano ... Niknik na lang tawag mo sa akin. Di ba ... teka , how old are you na ba?" she asked.
"17 pa lang." he replied.
"Talaga? Cool, parehas pala tayo. Tisoy na lang tatawag ko sa iyo tapos Niknik itawag mo sa akin."
"Okay po Ma'am .... Niknik."
"Masasanay ka din."
"Uh, yung ate mo .... bampira ba yun?" RJ asked, making Nicole laugh out loud.
"Vampire? Oh my gosh, no. She's just heartbroken ... although right now she's on her bitch mode." Nicole whispered. RJ then just smiled and followed her towards the garden outside.
"Marunong ka naman mag-tanim di ba?" she asked.
"Opo naman."
"Tisoy, wag ka ng mag- po sa akin, we're the same age. And besides, sabi ni Mommy next month na birthday mo." she said and so he nodded. RJ is still uncomfortable with the whole situation but her kindness is definitely helping him a lot.
"Cool, parehas tayo. I'm on the 17th."
"Talaga? 2nd." he replied. Nicole then flashed her gorgeous smile again and led him towards the plant pots.
"Paki-tanim muna yan. May kukunin lang ako." she said before walking away from him. And just like that, RJ is alone nonce again.
The young guy just shrugged and started his work. A couple of minutes later, a bikini-wearing Maine showed up. RJ turned to his side and saw Maine with nothing but a 2 pc. bikini and a see-through robe wrapped around her body. RJ's eyes widened the same time his mouth fell open.
"Shit .... shit ... shit ... anong gagawin ko?" he asked himself. Maine removed the robe as cold sweat started pouring down the side of his face. His heart is beating fast, he can't believe she's this beautiful.
"Oh my gosh you perv what are you looking at?!!" Maine asked, voice raised to a tone that everyone else will hear it. Maine's mom and sister ran out and asked what happened. RJ just gulped, his first day might also be his last.
