"Sure ka ba na you won't say goodbye to Nicole?" Maine asked RJ after they exited the venue. He smiled and nodded.
"Why?"
"Busy siya at tsaka ..." he said before he pulled her close to him. Maine's heart fluttered after she feld his hand roam her back. She looked up and saw his smile.
"At tsaka ano?"
"Ikaw yung huli ko gustong makasama ngayong gabi." he said. Maine then felt him leaning in and so she closed her eyes. They were about to kiss, but the doors to the venue opened suddenly and so she quickly pulled herself away. Maine looked on and saw that some of the guests have started leaving.
"Oh sige na, alis na ako. Goodnight." RJ said, backing away a bit.
"Goodnight din."
"Kay T.J. ba, wala kang sasabihin?" he asked. Confused, she asked who T.J. is.
"Sino yun?"
"Tender Juicy." he replied and she quickly blushed. RJ grinned and his sex god self once again showed up.
"Baliw ka talaga." she whispered and he just laughed.
"Loko lang ... pero miss ka na niya."
"Isa pa, tisoy." she warned.
"Gusto mo pa?" he asked and when she rolled her eyes, he finally stopped. RJ then waved her goodbye before he got into the car service that will take him home.
"Goodnight." she whispered once again and waved at him. One whole minute later, her prince charming has been driven away.

RJ spent the next couple of days preparing for his birthday, he wanted to make sure that everything will go his way even just for twenty four hours. And now, the moment of truth has arrived, it's finally his birthday.
The young guy woke up early to text himself a happy birthday. It's a weird tradition that he started doing when he was 13 years old.
"Thanks, pogi." he whispered when he got his own text. A few minutes later, RJ got out of bed and started getting dressed. He was so tired last night that he fell asleep with only his underwear on.
A few more minutes later, RJ stepped out and was quickly greeted by his family.
"Happy Birthday!" both his mother and younger sibling yelled at the same time. He smiled and quickly hugged both of them.
"Aysus, kayo talaga." he told them.
"We love you, anak."
"I love the both of you too, english yun." he said and his mother laughed. RJ smiled and hoped to God that this birthday will be his best one yet.

Nicole took a deep breath before she approached Maine. After what she saw that night, the young girl kept a lot of things to herself. She became an observer, a wallflower, a silent voice.
"Ate, ngayon birthday ni Tisoy di ba?"
"Yup, why?"
"Wala, nag-call kasi ako. Nahiya ako nung una, kala ko hindi ngayon. Pina-alala nga pala niya, may party sa kanila mamaya. Tara?" she asked.
"May pupuntahan akong iba eh." Maine answered. Nicole crossed her arms over her chest and looked ar her steadily.
"What?"
"Sama ka na." she insisted.
"Ugh, fine."
"Yay!" Nicole said happily and gave her a hug. The young girl then quickly walked away and went to the kitchen. The smile on her face faded, Nicole closed her eyes and started praying that he still feels the same about her.

After locking himself inside his own room, RJ pulled out his phone from his pocket and dialed Maine's number.
"Uy, birthday boy." she said.
"Hello ... birthday din ni T.J. ngayon, ayaw mo siyang i-greet?" he asked.
"Kagabi ka pa." she said and so he laughed. RJ then sat on the side of his bed and started putting on his shoes.
"Ba, good boy naman si T.J. ah." he reasoned out.
"Jusko Tisoy, tigang ka na naman."
"Ouch."
"What? that's the truth. I'll be there later nga pala."
"Buti, akala ko ayaw mo ng mga birthday parties?" he asked. RJ then stood up and looked at himself in the mirror.
"Para sa iyo, pupunta ako."
"Ih."
"Napano ka?" Maine asked.
"Kenekeleg eke, ene be?" RJ answered and so she laughed. He giggled as well and sat back on the bed.
"Ano ka ba? di mo bagay." she told him, still laughing.
"Alam ko, pinapatawa lang kita."
"Sus Tisoy, you're full of reasons."
"Anong susuot mo mamaya?" he asked.
"Wala." Maine answered and he quickly blushed. Now, RJ can't remove the thought off his head. He can see her clearly, he remembered what happened that night instantly.
"Maine?" he asked.
"Oh?"
"Gising na si TJ." he said and she giggled.
"Oh ano? gusto mo pa? I'll take a shower na tapos pupunta na ako jan."
"Sige." he said and the call ended. RJ's heart started beating fast, Maine turned him on right away.

Maine and Nicole reached RJ's house a few minutes after the night crept in. She tried her ebst to stay calm and collected but when they got there, her anxiety increased rapidly.
"Are you ready?" Nicole asked her, she just nodded. The two then got out of the car and was greeted quickly by RJ himself. Maine's heart fluttered, the way he looked at her made her blush a bit.
"Buti nakarating kayo?" he asked them.
"She insisted." Maine answered and pointed at Nicole. A few minutes later, the two walked in and was introduced to his mother.
"Hello Po Tita." Nicole said and gave her a hug.
"Hello Po." Maine then added.
RJ was then pulled by his Mom. She whispered something in his ears and that caused his face to turn red away.
"Ano po yun?" the young girl asked, growing more and more uncomfortable.
"Ah ... tinatanong ni Ma kung sino daw yung girlfriend ko." RJ replied.
"Oh."
