Louis' POV:

"Mr. Potato, you can't possibly believe that's true!"

"Well it is and I think you're a liar. So I'll ask again, where were you on Friday night?"

I pressed Mr. Potato head's forehead against Barbie's and Lottie made a gasp.

"Oh fine, you've caught me. I won't lie anymore, it was me. I killed Ken. He kept saying he would leave me for Thumblina and I wasn't having that.", she sassed and shook Barbie's body around to look like she was shaking her hips.

" Well he couldn't have her anyway, because I'm dating Thumblina. ", I used a deep voice for Mr. Potato head and grabbed the Thumblina doll.

" Thumblina honeybunches", I said.

"Yes suger dumplin' ", I gave her a country accent and Lottie laughed at me.

" Aren't we the hottest couple ever?"

"You know it buttercup. We're hotter than a sinner sittin' in church yes we are", I then made kissing noises and pushed their faces together while Lottie looked grossed out.

" Eww Louis", she had faced while laughing.

There was a knock at the door and the both of us looked up to see Dr. Smith.

"Hi", Lottie waved at her and Dr Smith waved back and smiled.

"Hello Lottie, morning Louis."

"Good morning."

"Lottie, I need to talk to your brother about a few things, do you think you could step out for a second?", she leaned down to be face to face with Lottie while Lottie nodded and walked out waving goodbye.

" Sweet kid", Dr Smith said getting back up.

"Yeah, she is. So what was it you needed to talk about?"

She sighed and got a chair nearby and sat in it with her clipboard in her lap.

"Due to your head injury, there have been a few things in your body failing. These processes stopped when you were in your coma, but once you woke back up and started moving again, they started right back up. Major things in your brain are connected to your entire body, but if things in your brain fails, they fail as well. Most things like your spinal cord, and that can stop things like your hands, knees, and even your breathing pattern."

My breath hitched at that last part as it finally set in.

"I'm going to die aren't I?", tears formed in my eyes and I looked down at my hands, seeing the bandages on my wrist.
