A Note To You

Dear Reader:

Let me explain who I am, my name is Damien Chambers and I am a vampire. I live off the blood of willing donors through a blood bank that one of my coven members run. I am what you could call the prince of my kind and I do not bite humans. I have done that enough in the past in the act of keeping my race alive, or mostly alive in some cases. But that is in the past where it should stay.

It has been seventy-two years since the war between the mythical creatures of your imaginations and nightmares. And the ones who lived through it will never forget, mostly the vampires will never forget the betrayal. That tore lives apart at the seems.

It is now the year 2013 when I write this note and only two Royal Vampire families remains, my family and Zeke's. The Vampire wars ruined everyone and everything that it touched. I should know first-hand of how it did, I have metal in and on my right hand and arm to support the tendons and muscles because it was ruined during the war. And the humans don't even remember it, didn't record it in their history books, and they brushed it off like it never happened.

But the Vampires and Werewolves wrote everything down and to this day the war still ravages our hearts. Even ravages my sister's heart, now I watch my beloved sisters ache with the memory of our watchful father being stolen from us. Watching their pain of knowing what our father had done for us before he died. How it goes away when they are away from the house.

We are different from the vampires that you have read about or seen on T.V. How so? We can walk in the sun light for a short period of time and we all hold more than one gift. We can not use them while we are in the sun nor can we feed while its shining. We are just like you and when the sun is shining and went it is not. But my world is dark and not for the weak hearted and weak minded. Fore if you are, you will not last the night in a world of horrors that I call mine.

I have allowed my loves and my story to be told by this author because I want to have it out in the open, everything happens in the state of Idaho, stay caught up, it may confuse you. So please enjoy it, for it is the only time that it will be read.
