Kia was still swearing down her wrath on the rebels for making her wrong when they came home from talking to the Elders. All eyes fell on Damien when he walked into the living room and the instant they did Damien regretted giving them time with him. This was why he was gone for five days, everyone was trying to read him and trying to figure out why Damien's been so distant. But Kia, she just smiled at him and waved as she ranted. Damien was glad that she recovered from her pain that her visions had put her through.

She looked well at the meeting, but Damien knew that she wasn't feeling how she looked. Also, the way that Kyle was hovering by her and his expression of worry every time he looks at her. Told Damien that he knew as well and was not comfortable with the fact that his soul mate was hurting. And the fact that he couldn't do anything about it was tearing him to shreds.

And she was right about Damien's options, Damien had decided on bringing Kerri into the world of myths and horrors. But Damien would not force her to join the immortals, that, would be of her own choosing. Damien didn't know how he could gently ease her into his world. But he knew that he wanted her to know everything about him.

Zeke kept looking at Damien, trying to telepathically communicate with him. Trying, is the key word here because Damien neatly blocked him from doing so and was partly amused that it irritated him that Damien could. Damien was blocking him because he was trying to sway him from telling Kerri what he was and that was irritating Damien. To the point that he was lucky that Damien didn't throw something at him.

Look somewhere else or you'll regret pissing me off.

Don't tell her Damien, it'll cause trouble, Zeke said and Damien gave him a charming smile and he felt his eyes change to their true color, ice blue. Damien noticed that Zeke froze due to anxiety.

For you, I hope and it's none of your damn business what I do the last time I checked, so look somewhere else.

As a Prince of our kind, you should do what's in the races best interests. Zeke said and Damien rolled his eyes,

Yeah, yeah spare me the royal lecture, I've already heard it.' Damien mentally said to Zeke and he kept staring at him.

"Damien, she is going to cause trouble" Zeke said aloud, anger knotted Damien's gut and his inner demon stirred and raised its head, eager for blood shed. Damien felt his anger snap and his control was gone, Damien had Zeke by the neck and against the wall in a split second. Damien felt his canines elongate, an enraged growl ripped up his throat and through his clinched teeth.

"You will never speak ill of her!! Or I'll make you wish you were dead" Damien hissed through his teeth and Damien's grip on Zeke's neck tightened. Ice started to form on his neck where Damien's hand was and crept up towards his jaw.

"It is your birth right to pro----" Zeke's voice cut off as Damien tightened his grip on Zeke's neck.

"I know what to do and what my birth right is! I have no need for you to tell me Zeke." Damien said through clinched teeth, Kyle walked up to Damien and grabbed his arm.

"Dimi, take a breather and let Zeke go"

"Touch her and I'll take your damn head off!" Damien hissed as he shoved Zeke into the wall, the impact made an indent of Zeke's shoulders in the wall. Kyle forced Damien backwards as Alex walked towards Zeke to examine his neck where Damien's hand was just seconds before.

"Zeke how many times do I have to warn you about setting Damien's temper off?" Alex asked as he turned Zeke's head to the right to get a better look at the thumb print that Damien left.
