The Monarchs gathered in the castles dining hall discussing the warlocks and the witching society's betrayal. They had exposed one of the younger vampires to the humans and told the werewolves the lie that the vampires were hunting down the wolves' kind. It had started a war with them and now the humans knew that vampires, werewolves, and shape shifters existed. There was no doubt in any of their minds that there was going to be a war between the races. And that the humans were going to be on the side with the most deaths.
The dining hall was inlaid with silver and gold and had plush carpets imported from Italy. The big table that all of the monarchs were sitting at was an imported mahogany wood stained dark brown from England.
The twin princes sat on either side of the King and Queen, prized by the Royals and by their parents. They looked like gods among peasants and they both had expressions like they knew it. The Queen leaned over and whispered something to one of the twins with the black goatee. He stood up and the room fell silent in respect of the prince.
"As you know, the witches decided to turn their backs on us and spread rumors that we hunted and killed many of the werewolves. And that rumor made the peaceful wolves turn on us. And let us not forget that the spell casters also exposed us to the human kind. Now they are planning to fight us, we all know that their numbers will decline at a very fast rate, due to what the werewolves will do, they will use them as food. Which in turn will make them stronger." The Queen touched his arm and he looked down at his mother.
"Damien, son, what are you getting at?" She asked and Damien smiled at his mother and then turned to his twin.
"Kyle, will you tell the group what we planned last night they might like it" Damien sat down and his twin stood up.
"My brother and I decided that we are going to look for humans that have promising talents and gifts. We are going to teach them how to fight and how to use those gifts to our advantage. As you all know that when a human is turned they receive a talent that may or not be strong. So, we find those humans that have the potential of having strong talents and turn them for an army." Kyle said the Queen stood up, and looked at her two sons, then at her husband.
"Do you agree with our sons?"
"I do, their plan might save us in the end of this pointless war-"
"Well I do not father" Damien and Kyle's older sister stood up, cutting her father off. Her younger sister pulled at her sleeve.
"Lynaya sit down, we have no say in the matter," Nathia whispered to her,
"We are princesses, we have to have a say in it Nathia," Lynaya whispered back, then glared at her brothers.
"Forgive me father for interrupting, but I do not agree with this plan that my twin brothers came up with last night while feeding. We are supposed to protect humans or our source of nutrition will dwindle and we fade into the entrapment of our souls," Lynaya said and both twins snorted, Damien stood up and smiled at Lynaya.
"My dear sister, do you really think that the human race cares as much for us as we do for them? They would rather see us and the shape shifters burn to ash than accept us. They are afraid of us because of our state and power, they fear what they do not understand."
"Your ego and pride has made you thoughtless little brother, what will we do if the human race dies out? Use animals for a source of blood? The animals won't last long because the shape shifters and the werewolves use them for meat and clothes. It is a shame that your looks are the thing that you rely on to get you what you want. For they will not help you in this war my brothers." Lynaya said. Damien smiled a crooked grin that could capture any women's heart, but that only made Lynaya want to throw something at her brothers' head.
