Damien took form in Kerri's computer chair and watched her sleep, she was lying on her side facing him with her hands tucked under her head. Her hair was down and flowed over her pillow. Reminding Damien of how much that he wanted to have his arms wrapped around her. Partially at this very moment as Damien admired what she was wearing to bed. She wore a spaghetti shirt and rolled up sweats, it wasn't very much, but he loved her in it. How the moon light illuminated her made her seem like a goddess sent to toy with him.

I'll admit that my latest decision to sneak into Kerri's room while she's sleeping wasn't my smartest one. It had big down falls to it, but it made the risks more appealing to him. It also made his night just to see her rest peacefully. Damien got up out of the chair and walked to the side of the bed, pulled the down comforter over her and sat on the side of the bed. Grateful for once in his long life that he was graceful enough not to wake her up. Damien went to touch her cheek, but stopped himself and let his hand hover inches from her skin, then dropped it to his side. Damien had to leave before he made any wrong moves, Damien stood up and lightly kissed her on the forehead.

"Goodnight my sweet rose, may your guardian angels be with you." Damien said into her hair before disintegrating out of her house. He took form in front of her house and shook his head at himself. He had ran back to her house in his wolf from. Why couldn't he stay away from her? She was only a mortal that was fragile. So why did he have to check up on her? Damien shook his head again and turned to walk away. Damien ended up looking right at his twin's face, which was upside down because he was hanging from a tree.

"Damn it Kyle! Do you enjoy giving people heart attacks?!" Damien exclaimed as Kyle shoved his hands in his pockets and let go of the branch. He landed silently on his feet and rose from a crouch.

"You should have heard me, I shouldn't have been able to sneak up on you. Where's your head bro? -Oh, don't tell me, you're thinking of the doctor-"

"Shut up, what are you doing following me around for?"

"I'm making sure that my logical brother doesn't do something stupid or something that he'll regret when the sun comes up like running through town as a white ass wolf with purple eyes."

"Alex sent you, didn't he?" Damien asked and one of Kyle's eyebrows shot up.

"Shouldn't he have enough to worry about without sending people to bring you back home?" Kyle asked and Damien looked at Kerri's house, Kyle followed Damien's gaze and looked where he was looking.

"You're in love with her" Kyle sucked in a breath and ran his hand through his spiky black hair. Damien's eyes flashed in the moon light as he shot a lethal glare at Kyle.

"Watch it Kyle, I am in no mood to deal with the rule speech or with anything for that matter."

"But Kerri, this is something, no wonder Alex was shouting this morning, but look bro" Kyle placed his hand on Damien's shoulder. "I think it's great and I'll back you if Alex wants to go to the Elders. But I don't think he will, but even so I'll back you."

"Thanks Kyle, you know that I have your back too" Damien said and Kyle smiled that crazy grin of his.

"I do Dimi, a little advice for you. With this type of thing it's better to listen to both your brain and your heart. Your heart will get you in trouble if you only listen to it. Remember that bro and you'll be fine." Kyle said and with that he disappeared, leaving Damien to his thoughts once again and he wondered the blackened streets of the city. Occasionally, Damien had one of the coven members or one of Aarons suits following him. But he didn't mind if they kept their distance from him.
