Jade's bell voice chimed through Damien's head. She was the one vampire that could help other vampires with his mind set or go to if they needed anything. Damien rolled his eyes at Jade, she was the newest addition to his family/ coven, Caleb, had found her a year ago. She'd been in a car accident and Caleb had watched her go through the windshield of her car. When he had found, her laying in the ditch under the cover of brush and on the brink of dying. He changed her because Kia had seen her with him the way we were. Changing a human isn't easy, our poison must be accompanied by our blood while its introduced to the blood stream of the human.

Then the change from mortality to immortality is followed by an awful pain going through your extremities. Like your body is being smashed alive and the feeling like your brain will explode. Some don't survive the change and some turn insane during the conversion. Due to the brain being bombarded with pain and sensations that would override the main center that controls the thought process. If the person does survive the conversion, but has intense brain damage, we have no choice but to end their suffering and send them to eternal rest.

Damien saved his butt by talking to the Elders. Bringing them around to his side so they didn't fry his butt for turning a human. The Elders of Damien's kind are extremely against turning humans and are also extremely irritating at times. Damien shook his head to return to what was at hand.

Jade I can do without your sarcasm, I'm with a human and I can't leave.

Did you make a promise to her? Jade asked and he ran a hand through his hair.

I take your lack of speech as a yes, tell me what you need.

Blood. The blood loss made me dangerous to be around. Damien walked around Kerri's yard as he thought to Jade. It was very calming to him to walk where Kerri seemed to spend most of her time when she wasn't working.

I'll send someone to you, I need to help Kia with Kyle.

How come she needs help with Kyle? Damien asked as he stopped a foot away from Kerri's gazebo. The news surprised him, had something happened to him also?

No Kyle is fine for the time being, Kia was watching for it when you would remember and Kyle was with her when she got the vision and nearly brought the house down with his excitement. He went through a wall earlier and the ceiling slated in because he didn't watch where he was going and hit the main beam for that part of the house. Also, Kia's stressed because she is seeing more than one vision at a time, most of the visions have her screaming with fear, Jade explained in my head.

Tell me. What are the visions of?

The visions are of us Damien and they are not good. She's trying to block them out, but she can't when they are inflicting pain on her heart. Damien, they're of us being killed. Jade's voice was uneven and threatening to take Jade off the edge and into hysteria. But Damien could hear control in her tone. He heard Kia's scream of terror echoed in Jade's mind and Kyle's soothing voice to Kia.

I need to come home-

Damien no stay there we have control over this. Kyle is soothing Kia as I speak and Alex is going to put her into a deep sleep where her visions wont torment her. She missed her day of sleep so this will help her in a way that you cannot. Besides if you break your promise you'd be a sulking mess for a week. Stay there and expect a visit from your twin. I swear if Kyle doesn't calm down I'll kill him, Jade complained the last part.

Easy. Calm down, you know that Kyle's a hot head, just let him be and everything will be fine. He's has a mix of emotions right now, let him calm down.

Yeah. Until the house falls on our heads, we do not need to rebuild the house again. Last time it took almost a year to rebuild and we had to live in the town house.
