*walks downstairs*

Me: I'm ready...

Terrance: After you...

*Terrance opens the front door & closes it behind him*

This all seems to feel like a dream. Here I am pregnant, my father wants to be back in my life, & I'm fighting off a enemy. It all just doesn't feel real!

*we arrive at Olive Garden*

Hostess: Table for two?

Terrance: Yes mam

*Hostess leads us to our table & we take our seats*

Terrance: I know we aren't just gonna pick up where we left off & become the best off friends, but I'm really glad that you're here with me Melanie.

Me: I just have a few questions...

Terrance: What's that?

Me: Why did you leave me, leave us? Was it something I did? Was I not good enough for you?

Terrance: No not at all, baby girl you're everything to me! I love you more than anything! My father was never there for me either. I love you so much, I just don't know how to show you I do. I never got that love I needed or wanted from my father, so it's hard for me to be that man in your life when I didn't have mine myself.

Me: Is that your excuse?

Terrance: No Melanie...I own up to not being the worlds greatest father. I can't take back the mistakes I've made, but I'm here now to tell you that I want a chance to fix that. Melanie will you please forgive me & let me prove to you that I need you in my life?

Oh, it all sounds so good! The little girl in me thirsts for his love! This is all I've ever wanted, but my stubbornness is starting to get it the way! It's like my pride is telling me he's full of it, but my heart is screaming take him back!

Me: Daddy I forgive you, I love you, & I'm happy knowing your back in my life. I'm sorry for all the madness I've created. It's just that I was so angry with you for so long!

Terrance: I understand baby, but I want you to know I'm here.

*we eat & share memories*

Terrance: Now that we're finally on good terms I having something to tell you.

OMG, here we go again! I don't think I can take another secret!

Me: *hesitant to ask* What's that?

Terrance: You have a sister...

Me: A sister?!

Terrance: Yes, she's your age. It all happened when me & your mom were having some problems, then we separated...

Me: Does Ma know?!

Terrance: She has known the whole time...

Me: & she has kept this from me! Where is she?!

Terrance: Closer than you think...

Me: What does that mean?

Terrance: She goes to Milton high

I cannot even believe this is coming out of his mouth right now! I have a sister who I go to high school with & I literally could've been walking passed her everyday!
