*we arrive at home & walk in the house*

Ma: Well, I guess now we can finally go shopping & plan the baby shower!

Me: *laughs* Ma calm down I'm just four months.

Ma: I know honey I'm just so excited!

It's funny how my Ma's whole attitude changed towards my pregnancy. At first she was all like "look what you've done!", and now she's all "I can't wait to go shopping!" Like I said before, it's so funny how things can change.

*hears knock on the door*

Me: Who is it?

Naomi: *screams* It's me!

Why is Naomi even here? After the way she acted at the doctors office today I don't even wanna look at her right now! There was no reason for her or Misty to act so childish like that, but since she's here it's the perfect time to talk!

*opens front door*

Naomi: Hey, I came over here to talk to you.

Me: Good, because I need to talk to you too.

*we go in the living room*

Naomi: Melanie I know this might sound crazy *interrupted*

*hears knock on the door*

Who could this be? I'm not expecting anybody, unless it's Jamal or Misty.

*opens door*

Misty: Hey Mel, I wanted to talk.

Me: *points to the living room* Join the club!

*we walk into the living room*

Naomi: *gives Misty a dirty look* What is she doing here?

Misty: *rolls eyes* I came here to talk to Melanie not you!

Naomi: *stands up* Oh bitch don't get smart!

Misty: *walks over to Naomi's face* I think I already did.

Me: *breaks it up* STOP! Just stop all of this bullshit! I am so sick of you two acting like this is a competition to get next to me! I love you both & they way y'all are acting is real petty!

Naomi: I just don't like her around you!

Me: Naomi it's not about what you like! You're my bestfriend & I love you, I do, but I could care less about what you don't like with what's going on in my life! You should've known that when I found out Misty was my sister we were gonna get to know each other & we just happened to get closer than I imagined!

Misty: I respect that she's your bestfriend & I'm not trying to take her spot or anything, I just wanted to get to know my own sister.

Naomi: I don't care what you say, you are trying to take my place! You can put on that fake ass "angel" act with Melanie, but I'm not falling for it!

Misty: What are you talking about?! You sound ridiculous!

Me: Naomi just shut the hell up! I'm so sick of you at this point! Why are you acting so insecure?! If you know where we stand with each other my relationship with Misty wouldn't be a problem!

Naomi: *looks at me like I'm crazy* Mel...

Me: *gets emotional* Mel what?! Huh?! All of this shit is uncalled for! You're acting like a fucking child Naomi!

Naomi: *stands up* So you're gonna choose this hoe over me?!

Me: *walks over to Naomi's face* That "hoe" you're referring to is my sister & no I'm not choosing her over you, but if you're gonna have a problem with her you gotta problem with me!

Naomi: I can't believe you Melanie! After all we've been thru together this is it?!

Me: Naomi you made that choice yourself! You're the one who wanted to stop being a friend, and act all crazy when Misty came in the picture! It was your ass who wanted to act like a damn child!

Naomi: I'm out!

Me: Well, get to stepping then bitch!

*slams the door behind Naomi*

Misty: *looks at me with tears in her eyes* Melanie I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to ruin your friendship!

Me: *hugs her* Don't feel sorry for me honey, because if she was truly my friend none of that would've went down! God always makes room for better, so I guess she was just a lesson.
