*arrives at hospital & walks in*
Clerk: Hi Melanie
Me: *looks shocked* You know my name?
Clerk: Well, you're always here so I was gonna learn it eventually!
*we both laugh*
Clerk: You can go ahead & make your way up to his room sweetie.
Me: *smiles* Thank you
*I walk off*
Clerk: There isn't many like her left.
I don't know if it's just me, but I hate hospitals! They just suck the happiness right out of you!
I really don't see how people work here, because I would be sad all the time seeing somebody die that I've grown a bond with.
*walks into Jamal's room*
Me: *kisses Jamal* Hey baby! *lays with him* I missed you so much! Today has been really crazy! Misty snuck a letter into my purse today, and I honestly don't know what or how to feel. It's like I want to be mad at her, but at the same time I still care. You get what I'm trying to say? *looks at Jamal with tears in my eyes* Baby when are you gonna wake up? I miss you! If you die what am I going to do? Jamal wake up please baby, please!
I honestly feel empty without Jamal. It feels like a part of me is missing & from what it seems like I may not get that piece of me back.
*door opens*
Nurse: I'm so sorry to interrupt miss, but visiting hours are almost over so you should be getting ready to go.
Me: *wipes tears* Thank you
*Nurse shuts door*
Me: Well, I guess I'll get going. *kisses Jamal* I love you so much, more than you'll ever know!
*I walk out*
