All of a sudden I felt vulnerable to feel his love again. I couldn't do anything but stand there. That's all I wanted to hear after all of these years! I just wanted him to feel like I felt, abandoned! I wanted him to feel like he was missing something important!
*turns to look at Terrance*
Me: *starts to tear up* What did you say?
Terrance: I said I'm sorry Melanie...I never meant to hurt you.
Me: *starts to cry* Daddy...
*Terrance looks at me shocked*
Terrance: *runs over to hold me* Melanie I'm so sorry baby girl! I'm so sorry for everything!
*I begin to cry even harder*
Terrance: *lifts up my face* How about we go out for lunch & talk this whole thing out?
Me: *wipes away tears* Ok daddy...
*I go upstairs to get dressed*
