*Jamal's mom walks into the room*
Mrs. Neal: Hi baby, I'm sorry I took so long.
Me: It's ok, I wasn't going anywhere anyway.
Mrs. Neal: *points to me laying with Jamal* I can see that.
*we both giggle*
Me: *rubs Jamal's face* I really don't want to leave him...
Mrs. Neal: I know baby, but you need your rest. Especially since your resting for two now. *she rubs my belly*
Me: I don't even know how I'm gonna focus on my school work tomorrow.
Mrs. Neal: Just try baby...He'll be here when you get out of school tomorrow, I promise!
Me: Ok, I guess I'll be on my way then.
Mrs. Neal: *hugs me* You be safe, get plenty of rest, and don't worry yourself too much. We'll get thru this.
Me: *smiles* I know it. *turns to Jamal* I love you so much baby! See you tomorrow. Always and forever, forever and always. *kisses him*
*waves goodbye & walks out the room*
It took all of me not to break down when I closed the door to Jamal's room. It felt like I was leaving a piece of me behind. Milton high isn't the place I want to be tomorrow & I don't think I could deal with anything else!
*leaves hospital & drives home*
