Weeks go by and nothing has changed. Jamal is still in a comma, Misty is still trying to get on my good side, and Jeremiah is still running game. You should already know I'm on my way to the hospital of course. Jamal's mom called me & told me to come a little bit earlier than usual. I wonder what she wants? I guess I'll just have to find out when I get there.
*arrives at the hospital & walks in*
Clerk: *smiles* Go right ahead.
Me: Thank you!
*I walk into Jamal's room*
Me: Hey
Mrs. Neal: *sounds down* Hey sweetie
Me: What's wrong?
Mrs. Neal: I think you should sit down for this baby.
Me: *starts to tear up* Okay...
Mrs. Neal: The doctors says there's is a chance that Jamal might not wake up after all. This is hard for me to deal with & I just can't keep seeing my son like this!
Me: *looks confused* So what are trying to say?
Mrs. Neal: I think it's time to pull the plug Melanie & I don't mean pull it tomorrow, next week, but today.
Me: *starts to cry* He'll wake up Mrs. Neal I know he will! Please don't do this, please! You can't do this to me!
Mrs. Neal: *hugs me* Baby girl sometimes you just have to let go.
Me: *crying harder* I can't live without him! What am I gonna do?!
Mrs. Neal: You live baby, you live!
