Chapter 25

*dismissal bell rings*

God it feels good to be out of that hell hole!

*Misty walks up to me*

Misty: What you doing after school?

Me: Oh nothing really, wassup?

Misty: I was just wondering could I come over so we can get to know each other more?

Me: Sure!

Misty: Ok, see you later!

*I walk to my car & make my way home*

I need to take this load off. My feet are so swollen, they look like two fat chicken breats! I would love a nap, but Jamal is coming over in a few, so it would be pointless.

*hears a knock at the door*

Jamal: *kisses me on the lips* Hey baby!

Me: Hey baby!

*I shut the door & we go upstairs to my room*

Jamal: So what did you do yesterday?

Me: Went out to lunch with daddy & found out I had a sister I never knew about.

Jamal: *stops rubbing my feet & looks at me* What?!

Me: Yep...

Jamal: Well, who is she?!

Me: Misty

Jamal: Misty Falls?!

Me: Yep, that's her!

Jamal: So are y'all cool now or whatever?

Me: Yeah, we talked everything out. Turns out we were both feeling the same way about the situation with daddy!

Jamal: See what I told you Melanie! When you get your head out your ass everything falls into place!

Me: *laughs* Yeah, you did tell me baby! *kisses him on the lips*

Jamal: *rubs my tummy* I love you two Melanie...

Me: We love you more!

Moments like these I cherish forever. There's nobody in this world who makes me happier than Jamal! They say "There's somebody for everybody." Well, I've found my somebody & one day he'll be mine for eternity!

*we take a nap together*
