Chapter 33

After Misty left I needed some rest. I still can't believe Naomi or the way she acted! It's so funny to me how somebody you've been friends with for years can disappear with a snap of a finger! But hey it's life! I came into this world alone & that's how I'll leave. Not everything is meant for me, so I guess Naomi was one of them.

I guess I'll just chill all day tomorrow at home, because there isn't much you can do on a Sunday anyway.

*phone rings*

Jamal: Hey baby

Me: Hey baby, you'll never guess what happened today!

Jamal: *sounds concerned* Wassup?

Me: Naomi straight up flipped out, because she's jealous of me & Misty's relationship!

Jamal: Mel even I knew that!

Me: She could've told me that instead of taking it all out on Misty! She knew that after I found out Misty was my sister that we were gonna get closer!

Jamal: I understand that Melanie, but don't forget that Misty was once your enemy & she did want your life.

Me: So you're saying Naomi is right?

Jamal: I'm not saying she's right for how it all went down, but what I am saying is that you should watch your back at all times when it comes to Misty.

See now I just don't know what to think! Everybody thinks that Misty is just putting on this little "act" to get a piece of me. Why would somebody take their precious time out of their life just to get at me? What is it exactly that she wants of mine?

Me: I just don't see what everybody is talking about. Am I missing something?

Jamal: Baby all I'm saying is that family isn't always there for you like you think. I have to work in the morning. I love you, goodnight, and kiss my little princess for me!

Me: Goodnight baby, I love you more, and I will!

*phone hangs up*

I really have some thinking to do, but right now I just need some rest.

*goes to bed*
