I just can't seem to wrap my head around the fact that I might be close to losing the only person I ever loved to the point where I would be willing to do anything for them.

*sighs*

I just don't understand why is this happening? Was it something that I did wrong? I can't grasp the thought of why I'm being put thru so much pain!

*lays with Jamal*

*starts to cry* I'm so sorry baby! I wish I would've called you sooner! I would've stayed on the phone forever if I knew it might've been our last time! I love you so much and I just wouldn't be able to function if you go! Stay with me! Please stay with me! Fight this baby! I swear I'm not going anywhere! You're all that matters, you're the one that always did!

Me: *wipes tears away* Just don't leave me...

Doctor: *knocks* How are you holding up?

Me: *looks up* I'll let you answer that question.

Doctor: I know this is hard Melanie, but everything will be alright.

Me: How do you know?

Doctor: First off, because I'm the doctor.

*we both giggle*

Doctor: Second off, stop thinking so negative and think about the positive! I can already tell you love him so much because if you didn't you wouldn't be here.

Me: You're right, and thanks for the laugh doc I really needed it. *smiles*

Doctor: Anytime sweetie, now you should make your way home. I know you don't want to leave Jamal, but his mom is here, you have school tomorrow, and you should be getting plenty of rest for you and that baby there.

Me: She went upstairs to the cafeteria, so I'll just wait until she comes back to leave.

Doctor: Ok sweetie, no more crying you're to pretty for that.

Me: *smiles* Thank you Doc.

Doctor: Have a goodnight Melanie

Me: You too.

*Doctor leaves the room*
