Oh boy, here we go again! Just when I thought my life was about to get easier here comes evil walking thru the door!
Me: *sounding angry* Why are you here?
Terrance: Now Melanie before you go all crazy just give Misty a chance to speak.
Me: Why should I listen to anything that comes out of her mouth?
Misty: *sounding sad* Melanie...
Me: *aggravated* Melanie what? You betrayed me even after I let you in! What is there left to say?
Misty: *starts to cry* Melanie I'm sorry!
Me: *screams* Why should I believe you? You reminded me why I don't trust these fake ass bitches now!
Jamal: Baby calm down
*room door opens*
Security Guard: Is everything alright in here?
Me: No officer everything isn't alright. I need some trash to be removed from this room!
Terrance: Melanie you're going to far!
Me: Daddy just stop it! You saw how she manipulated me!
Security Guard: I'm gonna have to ask you two to leave, because this is a quiet property.
Terrance: Melanie you need to stop building up these walls!
Me: *starts to cry* You created these walls! You're the reason why I am they way I am! You left me all alone & didn't even think about how I felt! You broke my heart way before anybody else had the chance to! You took my title from me! I was supposed to be daddy's ONLY princess not her! *points to Misty* How can you tell me how to be?
Terrance: *shocked* Melanie...
Me: *screams* Melanie what, huh?
Security Guard: *opens door* Lets go
*they both walk out*
Me: *cries harder* I hate him!
Jamal: *holds me* Let it all out baby. It's time to move on from this.
Mrs. Neal: *walks over to me* Baby girl I understand where you're coming from, but you can't have a relationship with anyone if you haven't forgiven them for what they've done to you.
Me: *wipes tears* How could I ever forgive him when he has caused me so much heartache?
Mrs. Neal: *rubs my back* Baby staying stuck in the past will only block your future. Your father acknowledges the wrong he has done & he wants to fix it.
Me: *looks up at her* Who's gonna fix me?
Jamal: You're the only one who can answer that question.
Mrs. Neal: Forgive him baby & let him love you. isn't that what you want?
Me: That's all I've ever wanted...
Jamal: Well let it happen then.
I don't know why I just can't seem to get passed this. I wanna forgive my dad for what he did, but a part of me wants him to feel how I felt all of those years he was gone. I felt so alone & abandoned all by the man who I thought was my hero. Maybe one day I'll let him in, but for now I just don't know...
