"You've been awfully bubbly these days." My mother said, staring at my grinning face. I locked my phone and looked up at her. "It's because you're there." I whispered kissing her cheek. She chuckled. "Not so sure about that." Andre said walking into the kitchen and sitting down next to me. I pushed him off the stool. "Who is she?" She asked smiling sweetly. I huffed. "No one." I answered. "Who were you texting?" Andre asked grabbing my phone. My eyes widened as I tried getting it back. "Give me my phone back!" I yelled before jumping over him to make both of us fall on the floor. He pushed me away before unlocking the freaking Samsung. I groaned and decided to just wait for him to finish. "Flirting with Isaac, now." He said ginning mmishcivously. I snorted. "Hardly. Just talking." He laughed. "Is it a blush amI see there?" He asked. "I Don blush Andre." I said seriously, glaring at him. "Now give me my phone back." He rolled his eyes and threw it back at me. "Thank you." I huffed. "Mum!" He yelled. "Nate has a crush! He has a cruuuuussh!" He yelled jumping allover the place. I smiled before pushing him playfully. "Do not." I huffed. She walked towards us. "Wolves don't get crushes." I protested. "Well in your case honey, it's possible to have like strong feelings for someone, close to a mate." She said smiling. My eyes widened as my cheeks tinted slightly. "Mother. Defend me. I'm not falling for the dude!" I exclaimed. Her eyes shot up. "A guy?" Andre nodded excitedly. "Can I meet him?" She asked. "No. He's not my mate or whatever you want to call it. I don't have strong feelings for him. He's just a friend." I huffed. "That's what they all say." I heard my father say walking towards me. He winked at me before kissing my mother. I rolled my eyes. "I'm not freaking crushing on Isaac." I said grabbing my bag and walking to the car. Andre followed behind. I started it before driving off to the garage. "Looking forward to seeing your boyfriend?" Andre teased. I shook my head in disbelief. "No." I deadpanned. "Come on. You know you like him." He whined. I rolled my eyes. "Fine. I like him. Doesn't mean I want to be with him. I'm just attracted to him." I said looking straight ahead. He smiled proudly. "I'm so proud of you." I laughed. "Right. Well be proud somewhere else." I said. "Are you gonna ask him out?" He asked. I sighed. "I've only known him for like two months or so." I huffed. "Actually it'll be two months after the holiday ends." I rolled my eyes before parking in front of the garage. We got out afterwards. We had already dressed into our work clothes which were basically just torn up clothes. "Hey guys. Great to see you." Elijah greeted. "There are two cars over there. One each. Get to work." He said rushing away. I shrugged and headed to the car I was assigned to.

The car was in a terrible state. The engine burnt out. I'm actually probably sweating right now. Plus the fact that grease splashed allover my body. Gosh I hated getting so dirty. I have to wash like three times after. It's just so annoying. I smiled as Isaac's smell clouded my nostrils. I didn't even need to see his face. I could just smell him straight when he came towards me. I actually liked his smell. A lot. Maybe too much. But he actually smelt really nice. Awfully nice actually. I found myself inhaling his scent deeply, while closing my eyes. "I have lemonade Nate, if you want." I heard Isaac say. "Two seconds." I answered. He just waited. I finished with what I was doing before rolling out from under the car. He busted out laughing as he saw me. I frowned at him. "What's wrong?" I asked. "You..." He laughed. "Look at yourself!" He laughed again. I chuckled before cupping his cheeks with my back hands. He stopped laughing as his eyes widened. "Now we both match." I said, sliding my hands to the side of his neck. "I'm gonna kill you." He whispered. I laughed, removing my hands. His lips look so delicious, gosh. I wipped my hands on my T-shirt before grabbing the glass of lemonade. "Thank you for the lemonade." I said smiling at him. "You're welcome." He said smiling brightly. I finished the glass and put it on the floor. "So how are you all settling down at home?" I asked. "Good." He smiled. I nodded. "Nate!" Andre yelled. I looked at him and frowned after. "What are you doing?" I asked as he carried a heavy bucket towards us. "It's for Elijah. Help me carry it." I sighed and walked towards him to have him throw the bucket full of water, all over me. I froze. Oh my gosh. I glared at him as he burst out laughing. "You are so gonna eat your balls for dinner." I said through gritted teeth. He laughed harder. I groaned and shook myself allover him. "Sorry man but I had to. Temptation." He said shrugging. I glared at him. "You better take that shirt off." He said. My jeans weren't that wet but my top was soaked. I rolled my eyes and took the T-shirt off before throwing it at him. "You are such a prick." I huffed walking back to Isaac. He just stared at me, wide eyed. I smirked at him. I like how my presence affects the boy. I grabbed a T-shirt from my bag before sliding it over my head. "So what are you doing for the next few days?" I asked him. "Nothing much." he shrugged. "You?" He asked. "Nothing much either. Although we're gonna watch some really scary movies for Halloween." I grinned. "Wanna come?" I asked. "S..sure." He stuttered, blushing. "Great." I answered. "I'll pick you up at 8pm tomorrow. You can sleep over if you like." I smiled. He blushed even more. He hummed in response. I smirked. I really want to kiss him right now. I want to smell his whole face. Sod it, his whole body. I want to smell him for an eternity. He smells so freaking nice. I would even say better than Isaya but the memory of it probably faded away. "Ok. I'll get back to work then." I said. He blinked a few times before nodding. I smiled before getting back under the car. I sighed deeply. I don't need this. He's screwing with my mind. The day she comes back and I'm there, kissing another man... That won't go well. At all. I just need to find her. Oh Shit. Why did I invite Isaac? What the hell was I thinking? Why would I do that, knowing full well that I shouldn't be bringing any humans to the community?! I groaned. We'll have to blow the horn. Yeah. The horn. I nodded before getting back to work. I finished the car soon after and headed to anther one and thank God it was only minor problems. "You guys can head home now." Elijah said patting my back. "Ok." I said finishing. I wiped my hands on my shirt before walking to Andre. He smiled at me. "I accidently told Isaac that I would pick him up tomorrow at 8pm for our scary movie session." I blurted out. His eyes widened. "You did what?!" I smiled apologetically. "You have to take it back. Go take it back." He said glaring at me. "No. I can't." I said frowning. "He looked pretty happy." I answered. He rolled his eyes as Isaac and Cleo came to view. "Hey." I greeted awkwardly. "Hey." He smiled brightly at me. "We can just blow the horn." I whispered to Andre. He sighed and nodded. "You heading home?" Cleo asked. We both nodded. He nodded. "Well if you'd like to join Isaac tomorrow..." I trailed off. "Oh no it's fine. I'm seeing some friends anyway." I nodded. "Ok. Well we'll see you tomorrow Isaac." Andre said. I nodded in agreement. Andre poked my arm slightly. 'Let's go, Nate.' He mindlinked. 'Just one more smell.' I blurted out, through the mindlinked of course. He smirked at me. I inhaled deeply, making sure it didn't look too awkward. I smiled sheepishly before walking away. "You are so falling for the dude." Andre sang. I huffed looking back. "He smells so nice. I haven't smelt something so nice since Isaya." I whispered. He stopped me before sighing. "Go and kiss him. You know you want to." He said smiling. "No. I cca't do that to her." I said shaking my head. "Shut up and go kiss the guy." I looked at his retreating body before sighing deeply. "I love you Andre." I whispered before running after Isaac. "Isaac!" I yelled. He turned around and frowned at me. I cupped his face before crashing my lips to his. My eyes closed immediately. Fireworks and sparkles and hell, volcanos erupted from my body. Oh my gosh. Why does it feel so good to kiss him? It feels like when I was with Isaya. If not, better. I swept my tongue across his lips, waiting for him to open his mouth a bit. And he did. I walked closer to him as our tongues and mouths moved in synch. Best moment ever. I broke it off, staring down at him, breathing heavily. His face was flushed as he just stared at me, wide eyed. "I thought you weren't gay?" He asked, voice crackling. "I'm not. I just like you." I whispered. He blushed harder. I closed my eyes and inhaled his scent deeply. I brought my lips to his again and kissed him. His hands gripped onto my T-shirt as he moaned silently. I smiled before breaking it off again. "So, I should probably go." I said, releasing my hands from his face. He looked down, grinning. I chuckled. "I'll see you tomorrow." I said walking backwards. I smiled, grinned at him. I groaned as I nearly tripped. He giggled. I blushed slightly before waving at him. "You're creeping me out." I heard Andre say. I looked at him and frowned. "Shut up." I huffed. "If you say anything to anyone, I'll kill you with my bare hands and feed you to the dogs." He grinned, hopping into te driver's seat. I chuckled and sat next to him. "Tell me you're not happy." He teased. "Shut up I said. This is all your fault. I wasn't supposed to kiss him." He grinned. "You're welcome." I smiled. "It was like kissing her, but 10 times better." I whispered. He frowned. "He smells better than her. Like," I paused. "Like maybe he's replacing her." I said looking at him. "That's good." I shook my head. "It's not. It's awful. Imagine I fall for him. Like imagine he becomes my mate." He rose a brow. "I wanted him. When I was kissing him, I wanted him. My wolf wanted him. I loved kissing him." I finished, sighing. "No talking about this to anyone, Andre." I whispered. He nodded. "I have your back on that one." I sighed in relief. "Thank you." He smiled. "You're welcome." I chuckled. I loved kissing the damn boy.
