Family ever after

The last few weeks have been a little crazy and like always, dramatic. Aside from the chaos Tay and I had the house to ourselves tonight since the kids were out.

"Hey sexy", Taylor said walking in the living room.

I was cleaning and he had wrapped his arms around my waist.

"Tay I'm going to be sick", I said pushing him off me and running to the bathroom.

"Geez Han, are you okay?", he asked holding my hair.

Many thoughts raced through my head until one hit me.

"I might be pregnant", I said.

"That's awesome baby!! That's what we wanted", Taylor exclaimed.

I smiled at the thought of having another little one running around. Ava and Caleb are practically grown up and usually aren't home all the time. It gets kind of quiet.

"Let's go buy the test", Taylor said smiling.

"Babe is something wrong?", Jace asked as we sat in his room.

"Uhm no. I'm okay", I smiled.

"Good", he whispered as he pecked my forehead.

Jace pecked my lips gently but kissed me roughly the second time. Thankfully my phone went off which made him stop.
{Shawn Mendes🎶: Hey Av? Want to hang?}
{Me: Uhh sure....give me a second to find a ride and get home}
{Shawn Mendes🎶: where u at? I'll pick u up
I couldn't tell him where I was. I mean I probably could but...why am I so worried? It's not like he's into me. Did I want him to be? Was I? Ugh!!!
{Me: I'll meet you at chipotle in an hour. Ok?}
{Shawn Mendes🎶: ok. See ya}

I looked at my phone in confusion. Usually Ava would agree to let me pick her up but now she's not. I had the feeling something was up. Why did I even care what she was doing? Ok I cared more than I should. What? I'm not falling for her right? I sighed and checked my snapchat. I clicked on Ava's snapchat and my heart dropped. She was with Jace. Everything clicked now. That's where she was and the reason she didn't want me to pick her up. Anger rushed through me. Not at Ava but at Jace. The little bastard is using her!!! I knew if I didn't do this she would end up heart broken or hurt. I picked my phone up and dialed the number. I placed the phone to my ear and spoke.

"Hey Taylor?"

My father paced around the living room in anger.

"Dad calm down. I'm sure she's ok", I said.

"She's with that Jace kid...he's no good and I have the feeling something's wrong", he shook his head.

"Wait! She's with Jace?!!!!", I shouted.

"Yeah. Shawn called a few minutes ago and said they posted some photos on snapchat".

"Let's go", I said through my teeth as I grabbed my car keys.

My dad hopped in my car and we sped off to Jaces house. When we pulled up Shawn's car was parked out front. I heard Ava's screams and crys and Shawn's yelling. Something was wrong.

Jace and I had been hanging in his room for awhile doing nothing besides cuddling. I had fallen asleep on his chest but awoke to the feeling of his lips on my neck.

"You're so sexy", he whispered as he continued kissing me.

"Jace stop", I said moving away from him.

"Ava come on. Not this again", he said.

"You know why I don't want too", I replied.

"Yeah whatever", he mumbled.

I felt bad but it wasn't changing my mind.

"J I'm sorry", I said grabbing his hand.

"It's alright I suppose. Make it up to me baby", he said smiling and climbing ontop of me.

"Jace stop!!!", I said trying to push him off.

"Dammit Ava! You're gonna let me!!!", he yelled.

Before I knew it he was holding me down and I was screaming bloody murder as he went in.

"STOPPPPP PLEASEEEEE!!!", I shrieked.

Jace's hand connected with my cheek.

"SHUT UP WHORE!!!", he yelled.

I cried as he went in and out taking everything I wanted to keep.

"GET YOUR HANDS OFF HER!!!!", a voice shouted.

Jace looked behind him and Shawn stood there looking the angriest I've ever seen him.

Shawn grabbed Jace by the shirt collar and slammed him against the wall. Shawn also kicked him several times and punched his face. I sat on the bed crying and shaking. Did I really just get...

"Ava!!!", my brother yelled rushing to my side with my dad following behind.

"Baby what happened?", my dad asked.

"J...R....-

My dad got up and kicked Jaces face. Caleb held me close to him and stroked my hair. My body shivered as the pain increased.

"Can you walk?", Shawn asked coming to my side as well.

I tried getting up but it hurt extremely bad. Shawn scooped me up and helped me put my shorts on. He carried me to his car and Caleb got in the drivers seat while Shawn kept me on his lap. I curled into him and he rubbed my back gently. I felt safe like this. My dad kept looking at me and making sure I was ok. I wasn't ok at all. Shawn carried me into the hospital when we arrived and begged a doctor to help us. The stress was way too much. My eyes closed and soon the light faded out completely....
