Shawn has still visited me regularly and the subject of Melinda hasn't been brought up. At some point it would have to be.

"Ready babe?", he asked as I shoved my last bit of clothing into my bags.

"I guess", I smiled.

I'm leaving the rehab center today and I couldn't be happier to see my family. Shawn had flown out days after I entered the center just to take care of me and after our evening together everything's been okay. We never discussed it but we didn't need to. My parents have no idea I'm coming home early which should be a nice surprise. Shawn grabbed my bag and we sped off to the airport. We boarded the plane and it was silent between us. The thing with Shawn and I is nothing has to be said. We can just be together. No need for words. I still couldn't get the fact he had been with Melissa out of my mind and it drove me insane but I don't even know what Shawn and I are so I couldn't accuse him of anything I don't suppose. Right now I just need to get home and see my family.

"Ava wake up", Shawn said shaking me lightly.

I opened my eyes and noticed the plane was now on ground which means..,IM HOME!!!!! I jumped up and grabbed my things. Shawn and I hopped in a car and drove to my house.

"Nervous?", he asked.

I nodded.

"What if they don't lo-

"Hey! Don't worry. They still do", Shawn assured me.

I smiled briefly before getting out and approaching the front door. I took a deep breath and knocked....

I was feeding Gina when I heard a knock on the door. Luckily it didn't make Gina fuss. I opened the door and she was standing there.

"AVA!!!!", I screamed.

"Hi mommy", she said giving me a hug.

"Oh my god what are you?-

"Came home early. I'm all better now mom", she smiled.

I hugged her tightly and let one tear fall. My baby is back home!!

"Where's everyone?", she asked looking around.

"Oh Caleb and Hazel are out looking for apartments and houses and your dad is at the Dallas's", I replied going over to Gina who was beginning to get fussy.

"Is that Gina?", she asked me.

I nodded and smiled down at Gina.

"Wanna hold her?".

Ava smiled and I passed Gina to her.

I looked down at my baby sister and smiled at how cute she was. She looked just like me but seemed to have my dad and Caleb's goofy personality.

"I'm your big sister. I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you were born but I promise I'll be the best big sister to you", I said letting a year fall.

"Oh Ava", my mom cooed.

Shawn came over to me and wrapped me in a hug.

"I'm just so happy to be home", I said.

"We know sweetie. We're happy you're home", my mom said rubbing my shoulder.

A couple of hours passed and Shawn left leaving just my mom and I alone. We did lots of stuff we used to do. We baked cookies and watched hallmark movies. Of course she couldn't do some other stuff because of Gina.

"Ava?", a voice said.

I looked up and Caleb stood there looking shocked.

"Caleb!", I said attacking him in a hug.

"You're....you're home", he whispered as he wrapped his arms around me tighter.

I nodded.

"Sooo where's this baby?", I asked smiling.

Just as I asked this Hazel came in with baby Mia.

"Wow Caleb. You did good", I laughed.

"Thanks baby sis", he smiled.

"Hey Ava. I'm so glad you're home", Hazel said giving me a hug. "Maybe we can go shopping or something".

I nodded and noticed a ring on her finger. I got sad for a moment. I not only missed Mia's birth but I missed my big brother getting engaged.

"You guys are engaged?", I asked.

"Yeah. I proposed last month", Caleb replied.

"Sorry I missed that", I said looking at my shoes.

"Hey it's okay baby sis, at least you'll be here for the wedding".

That made me feel a bit better.

"Well I'm just going to go for a drive. Get used to be being back here", I said grabbing my keys.

I just needed air. I realized how much I've missed all because I couldn't deal with my petty issues.
I drove around for awhile just thinking and I ended up stopping at a coffee shop. I grabbed my coffee and walked outside. I saw a girl who looked around my age crying and I couldn't leave without making sure she was okay.

"Hey are you alright?", I asked.

She looked up and her face was stained with tears. She just shook her head.

"My boyfriend just broke up with me and kicked me out of his apartment", she sniffed.

"So? Go to your parents", I replied.

"I can't go there either. My parents kicked me out when I met my boyfriend and told me to never come back", she said.

I placed a hand on her shoulder and sat beside of her.

"Look, I know you don't know me but I know parents say things but they don't mean them. Maybe you should go talk to your parents", I suggested.

"You think?".

I nodded.

"I thought the same thing a few months ago but my parents welcomed me back with love and open arms", I smiled.

"Even if I wanted to I couldn't. I don't have a car", she said looking down.

I stood up and held my hand out to her.

"Come on. I'll drive you".

She smiled, wiped her tears and grabbed my hand.

"I'm Savanna by the way".

"Ava".

We drove around talking and it turns out she's super nice and funny. She's attending NYU next month as well as me.

"Well this is the place", she sighed.

"Hey it's okay. Remember they'll accept you", I said.

"Thanks Ava".

"No prob. Hey text me and let me know how it goes", I called out.

I watched her as she knocked on the door and when her parents gave her a hug I knew everything would work out. Just like everything for me would.
