Family ever after

26: I do!

~Ava (2 years later)
"Babe you ready yet?", I called out to my boyfriend who was taking forever.

"Yeah I'm ready", Justin smiled.

I placed a swift kiss on his lips and he pulled me back for more. Justin and I met my second week here and he helped me get around campus. We talked then dated. Everything's great so far. I haven't heard from Shawn nor seem him since I left. Today's Caleb and Hazels wedding so Justin and I flew out last night to attend.

"You look gorgeous", he whispered.

"Thanks babe", I grinned.

Justin and I left our hotel room and headed to the chapel. Gina is growing like a weed and she looks like me. When we arrived I spotted my mom wiping Gina's nose and Gina making the face I used to make.

"Ava! Hi sweetie!", she said giving me a hug and pecking my cheek.

"Hey mom. This is my boyfriend Justin", I smiled.

"Hey Nice to meet you", he said giving my mom a small friendly hug

"Nice to finally meet you too".

"Where's dad?", I asked looking around.

"Oh he's calming your brother down", she giggled.

"Caleb's nervous huh?".

"Oh yes. He's been freaking out nearly all day", she laughed.

After chatting for awhile we took our seats and waited for Hazel and Caleb make their entrance. I spotted him sitting across from me and with a girl. Shawn Mendes....

My mom zipped up my dress and kissed my cheek.

"You look beautiful baby", she said.

"Thanks mommy", I smiled.

It's crazy to think I'm getting married today. It seemed like just yesterday I was being a hoe and not seeing how much Caleb loved me.

"Mommy! Flowey", Mia said pointing to her small basket of flowers and smiling.

"Yeah baby girl. Mommy's marrying daddy....you have to throw them", I said bending over a bit to talk to her.

Mia's grown up so fast and so has Gina. That summer was crazy for sure but it got us here. My wedding day. Our wedding day. I heard Mia squeal when the door opened to my bridal suit.

"Gampa!"

I looked up and my dad stood in the doorway smiling.

"How do I look?" I asked smiling back.

"You look gorgeous princess", he whispered.

I gave my parents both a long hug and before I knew it it was time to go say I do.

When the music began I started feeling more and more nervous. I'm really about to get married. This isn't a dream. This is real.

"I'm so proud of you son", my dad said giving me a hug.

That was a huge moment for me. My dad telling me he's proud of me....that's all I've wanted to hear since I was a kid.

"Thanks dad. I'll keep making you proud. I'll take care of my family and be the man you are", I replied.

He shook my hand and I took my walk down the aisle waiting for my princess. All of her bridesmaids did their thing. I saw Ava and her new boyfriend Justin. I was happy she was smiling again. The music shifted to Hazels and my heart started racing again. I saw the white dress and felt a tear trickle down my cheek. She was so so beautiful. My baby. My world. The pastor began his speech and this was it.

"Do you Caleb Caniff take Hazel to be your wife?"

I took a breath and smiled.

"I do"

"Do you Hazel Dallas take Caleb to be your husband?"

Hazel smiled and spoke.

"I do. I really do"

Finally I could kiss her! I smashed my lips onto hers and I got a bit carried away but who cares? She was my happy ever after.....
